Nice & bright.....for 3 hours
Initial impressions are very good: I bought these to brighten up a dreary garden shed in a dark corner of the garden and the lights are nice & bright and unlike some solar lights that produce a faint glow these are fully illuminated.I have observed however that the charge doesn't last very long- today for example has been quite a good sunny day with plenty of light. The automatic sensor means that they came on just after 8pm but by 11pm they had already began to fade as the charge must have been exhausted. I have tried repositioning the solar panel to maximise potential charging time, but with little improvement. Maybe I just expected too much from the relatively small solar charging plate, but I was expecting them to last a lot longer than 3 hours?UPDATE: I have since invested in a second set of solar powered fairy lights by a different manufacturer, and what a difference! This other set was twice the price however they last from 8am right through to daylight the following day, and comes with a multitude of different settings ( slow fade, fast twinkle, sequential lighting etc) so in comparison this Benross set seems extremely poor.

Is not solar powered at all, works like a normal battery!!!
When i installed this in the garden, i turned the switch to "on" as instructed, but noticed the lights stayed on all day even though it was sunny, working like a normal battery, not like a rechargable. I opened up to see if the battery inside was a recharchable one and it was. The next day it did not re power in the sun like it should, as it's solar. I bought new rechargable Duracell and swapped them over, and it's doing the exact same thing again, staying on in the sunshine, as if it's a normal battery. Not happy, what a waste of money!!!

Not recommended at all
Lasted for six weeks then stopped working, Discovered that water had got into the solar collector so waterproofing is a joke. Cleaned and dried it out and inserted new battery, but it will no longer charge, so the whole thing is now useless. Not a happy customer.

Really good lights
I am so pleased with these solar lights. They provide very good quality light, which is both bright and vibrant. They are easy to charge - basically just turn the switch to on and ensure the solar panel is pointed towards the light (doesn't have to be really bright light either) and off you go.I have them on my balcony and they look very pretty. They also have a twinkling setting and, if you don't want them to come on automatically, they have a manual on/off switch so you can control when they come on, and when you turn them off.All in all a good purchase, great value for money too!

Tiny but bright and pretty.
Very pretty multi colour lights. The actual lights are tiny but still nice. Bit expensive for what they are though. They don't cover a large area. I would suggest using them to light up a dark corner, but not for a major effect.

Vary in quality
I have bought several boxes of these lights. One only lasted about 2 days, so really disappointing. Others have been fine when there is sunshine during the day. I love their bright colourful lights. They brighten p the garden and make us all feel a little happier in these miserable times.

No good what so ever.
Can only agree with the other review for one star , purchased five sets of these lights one broke within a couple of days, which was replaced quickly, but now three others have packed in working, load of rubbish.
