Great gimmicky phone. Looks fab in a vintage room setting. Works perfectly

The Duchess telephone is very pretty, easy to use and has a good sound quality when making a call. The ringing is loud, so you'll be able to hear her ring from another room. I only returned her for an exchange for the Duke because her ringing tone is a modern one, not the vintage bell ring I wanted (which the Duke has). I thought all the GPO retro telephones have bell rings, but only some of them do, so it's good to know when reading the listing to check it says it has a bell ring.

Like the look of this phone. Can make and receive calls as described. Initially was looking for a traditional dial but happy with this push button. Ringtone and call quality good. One small issue is it seems handed to be held in left hand .. however that works for dialling with right so OK.

This comes with the incorrect cable for the UK so my review is based on the fact that I can't actually use this without spending more money on the cable they didn't supply.Update. I've now paid extra for the correct cable and the associated delivery costs and the phone doesn't work. The cradle doesn't engage so it rings but can't be answered so now I'm out of pocket. Great job Amazon.

This is a beautiful phone, which feels well made but for £51 I expected it to last longer than two and a half years. No longer works. Ringer is continuous and sometimes it has an alarming, continuous ring until I pick it up and there is no one on the line, so it's developed a mind of it's own! Even when it rang properly, I found that it wasn't a pleasant sound and way too loud with no option to adjust the volume. I will not be repurchasing and would not recommend.

I am inclined towards things a little ostentatious looking, and this fits perfectly amongst those other items on my desk in my home office. It works and it looks nice. The only thing I would complain about is that the cord is quite short, so I have to be sitting very near to the phone when I use it. Not a massive problem though for something I enjoy mostly for its aesthetics.

It is almost impossible to dial a number because the buttons stick. I returned the phone and was given another one; same problem. I have now returned two phones. No more for me. Too bad because I loved the look and the feel of the phone.

Es un decorativo teléfono que da un toque elegante al mobiliario. Teniendo en cuenta su precio, es una compra recomendable.

Das Telefon ist wirklich einfach nur Toll. Anfangs war ich erst skeptisch gewesen aber als ich es ausgepackt habe und in der Hand nahm nur Genial. Es ist vom Gewischt sehr angenehm und nicht verderleicht aus Plastik. Im Gegenteil man hat nicht den Eindruck das es NICHT was billiges aus China wäre. Sprachqualität sehr gut und Tasten lassen sich sehr gut bedienen. Die Kabelschnur ist sehr gut verarbeitet und das es in Wolle überzogen ist lässt das Telefon noch besser aussehen. Einziger Minuspunkt ist das, dass der Klingelton etwas zu modern ist meines Erachtens für solch eine Telefon. Aber es ist zu verkraften 😉
