Great for DDR
I recently got back into DDR and bought the L-Tek DDR pad (GREAT pad btw). Reddit recommended I buy this instead of L-Tek’s built-in bar, and that was a great call! The bar supports my 175lb weight and doesn’t move at all during use, even on 15s.Assembly was simple enough. There was a slight hiccup as the instructions mixed up the screws that should be used for one part, so watch out for that. One other slight downside is that if your hands sweat a lot, you may need to wrap some tennis racket tape or similar around the bar as the wood can become slippery.Best of all, the bar has wheels so I can fold it up, roll it and easily store it behind my dresser with the pad. If you are considering this for DDR, I 100% recommend.

Great DDR (Stepmaina, Project OutFox) Bar Option
Bought this after seeing a recommendation on Reddit for a better option for a DDR bar while using a L-Tek pad. They are known for some of the best home pads, but their bar is expensive and has quite a few issues. This bar is perfect for DDR with these pads. The pad fits well inside the side feet parts, and the bar is at a great height for leaning back on. It's comfortable and I got used to it quick. It doesn't move when I play (and I am a heavy player at ~235 pounds) but there are also weight holders on the back you could use to add more weight if needed. Finally, it folds up when I'm not using it, and the wheels on the back make it easy to move around.I can't come up with any complaint for this, it's really perfect. I am so glad I am able to play near arcade level DDR at home now. Highly recommend this and an L-Tek pad if you want to have a good setup too!

Great bar for playing dance games (Dance Dance Revolution, etc.) at home!
Specific use case, but this bar is perfect for dance games. It's very easy to set up, sturdy, and fits well around a standard sized DDR pad. Add a bit of bicycle handlebar tape for grip and you'll be good to go!

Need to keep weights on it when using barre so it doesn’t fall on you
I like it - but you have to keep weight s on it when you are using your body weight

Love it! Great for stretching and barre exercise.
This was a fantastic addition to my workout room. I am able to deepen and hold stretches longer. It is also great for steadying yourself when you’re building your balance and doing standing exercises. It’s a great alternative if you’re not able to install a permanent bar to the wall. It folds flat for easy storage, and has wheels along the front so it’s easy to roll along the floor and move. Would be a fantastic gift for a young girl that is into dancing.I am really impressed by the quality (black powdercoat finish) and sturdiness. I think that this model is better than a lot of others on the market since it also has an area to store several sets of hand weights and is engineered better since it’s counterbalanced – it isn’t just the bar held up by 2 supports and small feet. Plus, it just looks really nice in the room – doesn’t seem cheap at all.A few tips for assembly: There is a diagram, but no written instructions. Took me about 20 minutes to figure out and assemble on my own. I wrapped the ends of my wooden bar with a decent amount of tape before installing and was glad I did since it eliminated the need for me to put wood screws on the underside to stabilize the wooden bar (last step) because the tape kept the bar from being able to be manipulated easily. The wider support goes along the floor, and the narrower in between the two side supports about a foot up. The illustration makes them look the same, but the spacing of the holes for the bolts makes it a little easier to figure out. You will need a 10mm socket wrench and a 2x100 phillips screwdriver to complete assembly. I put the phillips end of the screw bolts on the outside of the side support and used the wrench on the inside to tighten. I also installed the hex nuts so that the end with the nylon insert was at the very end of the screw bolt on the inside of the frame. This mimicked the preexisting build of the frame. It really was very easy to complete assembly once I figured a few of the quirks out.

Love this
This is perfect. I am a former ballerina and think that barre work is the best for muscle definition and flexibility. This barre is easy to assemble, sturdy and height adjustable. Unfortunately it takes up a bit of room since it doesn’t fold up for easy storage, but if you have the space it’s a great addition to a home workout space!

Solid and Smooth Bar
This portable barre was easy to assemble and is sturdy. It’s easy to adjust the heights and to fold flat to store. I would be slightly more comfortable with it if the bottom legs did not extend so far out; they could have been weighted more for stability instead of using legs quite as far—I’m always worried I’m going to kick or stub my toe on one of them, even though that means I may be too close to the barre, it’s still a possibility. I also would have preferred that the weight racks were removable since I won’t be storing weights on them when it’s folded for storage. The heights are fine and the barre itself feels smooth and solid. Overall it’s a good portable barre.*** Helpful? I rely on customer reviews for all my online purchases, so I hope so! ***

Putting the barre together was simple and easy to move where I wanted it. My daughter uses is daily and the stability and durability it has is amazing. Definitely worth the buy.
