I was attracted to this product because it is contains pearl and silk for a sheen effect. I prefer a dewy look to my face (and make-up) as it looks more healthy and natural in my humble opinion than the matt alternative. I have often found that cosmetics made in France are a winner! Can't back that up with any science though!!This eye serum certainly delivers on the silky effect. It's tricky to capture with a camera on my eyes so I've photographed it on my hand (photos attached). It contains 100% hyaluronic acid which is known to penetrate and hydrate the skin, which you then seal in by applying your moisturiser. It feels refreshing as soon as it's applied. With this being a 15ml container, it should last for a good while yet.Although I have only tried it for a few days, and therefore cannot comment on the overall effectiveness of this gel, I can say that it feels lovely on my skin and I haven't had any adverse reactions.There is a free hydrating eye mask with this purchase but I've yet to try it.I am confident that this product hydrates effectively so it's USP, for me, is the pearly effect.

I give this product 4 stars for i feel it is expensive for the amount you get. Nevertheless i continue to purchase it because for my skin which is combination, it suits me well. No greasy residue. The light textured cream soaks in leaving your skin ( even the oily patches ) lovely and smooth and i have noticed it does help reduce fine lines . I use this mostly day time sometimes at night.

This is a gorgeous light serum in a beautiful classy looking pump.The quality of the pump is very good so you can easily control the amount you are dispensing.I have totally stopped using any other eye product to give this a fair trial and I am very impressed.I have been looking to replace my usual go to for my eyes which is clarins eye concentrate which is heavy in texture and in price!!! I have been trialing various eye creams of late and this is right up there in terms of price and quality.But this is the only one with the nacre light diffusing effect and when wearing minimal makeup it makes they area look brighter.The serum is pearlescent and the light reflecting particles are sparkly on the skin when viewed up close but the overall effect does slightly minimize the look of of dark shadows which is great.The feel of this on your skin is lovely it feels as though it is immediately plumping so making it seem slightly firmer l have used this for a couple of weeks now and like it a lot, I honestly believe that with prolonged use this is actually doing something permanent rather than just a temporary fix I have not as yet seen a reduction of wrinkles in my 50yr old crowsfeet however I firmly believe you need to be using a product for a couple of months for a true and accurate assessment ......I will update this if It does,I also believe this is great value as you only need a rice sized amount per eye so I anticipate this lasting for quite a few months.I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review

The Prestigious Duet for Eye Contour from bleu&marine Bretania arrived quickly and was well packaged.Bleu&marine Bretania is a French company specialising in high end spa quality skin and body care products made with marine and botanical ingredients.The eye cream comes packaged in a superb looking good quality sealed blue foil bag. This is re sealable and reusable. The cream comes in a beautiful blue plastic bottle with silver pump and clear lid. The pump works very, very well so there is no product wastage at all. The labelling on the bottle is comprehensive and shows manufacturer's details, expiry date, ingredients list benefits of using the product.I keep this cream in the fridge as recommence and it feels wonderfully refreshing on application. It feels cooling even if it is not kept cold but I prefer it cold. I use a very small amount morning and evening and gently spread around the eye (under, above and to the sides) then gently dab and it gets absorbed instantly.The cream has the consistency between light lotion and gel and has a pearly colour, iridescent and a bit translucent. There is no fragrance that I can detect.The product glides very well to cover a larger area so only use a tiny amount for each eye because that is more than sufficient. It absorbs almost instantly and leaves skin well hydrated. You can apply makeup straight afterwards because there is no residue or dryness just nice smooth well hydrated skin.Any puffiness dissapears very quickly and the dark circles are greatly diminished. Skin is well hydrated. These are the impressive immediate results and it's like a magic wand. I also noticed that the very fine lines at the corner of the eyes look smoother when I apply the serum and they look better with regular use so within a week the entire area looks younger.At first I thought the results from this cream are of a temporary nature and only noticeable when I apply the product but my eyes look good for the entire day after morning application and I also wake up with fresher, smoother, whiter eye area after evening application. Having skipped the treatment over a long weekend away when I forgot to pack the bottle (because it was in the fridge!), I noticed my eye are was still looking good. So there are longer term benefits from using this product.The pack also includes two eye patches as an intensive treatment. These are sealed in a sachet labelled with expiry date, ingredients list and explanation on how they work. It is a targeted treatment eye mask against puffiness and dark circles. I used it for 20 minutes and the eye area looked incredibly well refreshed, hydrated and it worked very well at eliminating under eye bags. I've now noticed that the eye mask can be purchased separately, it is a very good eye treatment especially before going out to a party or an important meeting.I am very pleased with how effective this duo is. The cream is very, very good. It is light, gentle and very efficient at removing under eye bags and generally lightening dark circles and regular use has had a positive effect on fine lines.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased consumer review.
