This was an upgrade to my previous juicer. It’s powerful with great quality and I love it.

This is great value for money compared to some other "bullet style" blenders. The containers are quite large and the motor is comparatively powerful so you can easily make enough smoothie in one go for 2 or 3 people. Depending on the ingredients used, the smoothies are not always super-smooth but if you want guaranteed smoothness you need to spend 10 times as much on a Vitamix. It is certainly quite load but you expect that with a 1200w motor. My only criticism is that it can sometimes leak even though I've tried hard to screw the blade on tightly.

I love the power of it, nothing else has come close. Only prob was...when I was pulsing the lid would come loose and there would be some slight spillage. I got a few people to check it wasn't just me, but no, it seems the friction would be enough to twist the lid slightly open, hard to explain. Maybe it's just the one I got where the lid is a fraction too big. I live with it because it's otherwise so great: powerful, easy to clean and store, looks good.

None of this style of blender have any sensible means of stopping the blade base from revolving, they fit silicone rubber which aids the slide of the base, on low watt units its not a prob, this has a powerful kick on start and easily loosens the base, allowing liquid to enter the motor housing and on through to your worktop, electrocution risk. I used draft excluder to stop the movement, but remember this is a brand new item. dont buy unless your happy to take the mess n risk

It’s passed the carrot and apple test - blended both to a smooth smoothie pulp, but make sure you have liquid in there too. Frozen fruits are no problem for it either, and so easy to use. I’ve read all the reviews and I have to agree that this blender is fantastic, great value for money and if you follow the cleaning instructions, it should last. Register your purchase on their website and you can get a 3 year guarantee. The Telegraph and Independant gave it great reviews and they were spot on.
