Hammerite dip
I have used this stuff on many occasions as i restore old motorcycles, its not for painting on the frame etc, its for filling a container and placing nut and bolts in to soak and believe me its an amazing fluid it really does get all the rust off and gets the meatal back completely rust free.

rust eater
like anything of this type feels expensive , however this can be diluted and used to soak items overnight for better results .

Does the job....
....but only in part, some of the rusted metals did not lose the rust others were brought almost like their original state...

Did what it says it will do.
A safe product to handle. The items need to be FREE FROM GREASE which will stop the product working on the rust. After degreasing wire brush to REMOVE SURFACE RUST then leave submerged in the diluted solution overnight. More time may be required for heavily rusted areas. If the items are not washed after treatment they will dry with a grey film. This product removes rust effectively but is not meant to protect from future rusting - so painting or a film of oil will be needed. Because it is diluted for use a bottle goes a long way.

very easy to use and effective
I followed the instructions -- remove excess rust with a wire brush, dilute 1:9, soak 24 hours, and then again wire brush and the rust comes right off. Just not sure how to dispose of it now that I am done.
