My Special One, Vol. 2 (2)

Ok we got the backstory for Kouta. That guy has been through a lot and he just keeps going!! Love him!!! Love that Sahoko is keeping to her promise too!! These two are just so precious I swear!! Even though this volume definitely had a bit more somber vibes there was still some fun bits throughout. Like that accidental bathroom scene!!! IYKYK 😏 and how absolutely useless Kouta is at taking care of himself. But honestly who can? It’s so hard when you’re sick!! But what I really enjoyed was that Sahoko is being completely honest with herself since the last volume and continues to do so but now Kouta is finally being honest with himself too!!! And that ending just made me so happy and excited for volume three!!!!

There were a couple pages in this one where someone grabbed the wheel and yanked it 180 degrees and it suddenly became sad. And I'm curious to see where that is going to take our characters. Kouta is giving Tamaki vibes which I love. I also think it's interesting to see how well this book shows the difference between a public persona and your true personality
