Is there a setting to continually mist without using trigger. I’d like to attach to golf cart and have fan and mist at same time.

No you have to pull the trigger for mist. The fan will continually run by itself but not the mist part.

Can you use the fan without the mist?

This product doesn't have a string attached to it. It would only cause problems having it hanging on your wrist. Best to just place it where it can be reached easily when needed.
