F-111 Aardvark In Action Squadron Signal Publications

This is a photo book of the F/B 111. The aircraft are shown in various liveries and configurations. This is the first variable geometry (movable wing) airplane and there are photos in this book of the wings in various positions, from fully extended to fully swept. As an F/B 111 enthusiast, I was delighted with these photographs.

I had expected this to be like most of the "In Action" series with line drawings highlighting the differences, mark to mark. Instead, this is more of the format of a "walk around" with lots of photos, but unlike a walkaround, it was just general shots of a variety of F-111's which didn't contribute to differentiating camouflage patterns or much in the way of detail.
