Womens Original Hunter Wellington Boots

Bought as a present, the lucky relative was ecstatic. Soft, comfortable, strong & oh so well made. Expensive maybe but the term “you get what you pay for” says it all !

Really good boots

Really high quality boots as expected and a great fit. I went up half a size (from 6.5 to 7) based on other reviews and this was a good decision.I have returned them for no other reason than they were described as Red but are actually a brick or rust colour tending towards brown. I was looking for a true pillar box red. These are available I think and are called Hunter Red so I will order again.

Have only had them for a couple of weeks and not been out for long muddy walk just yet but so far so good.. Will use them for a long walk within the next few weeks so may have to get back to you on the quality later.Sizewise and lookswise they are great:I am usually a size 6 so ordered a 6 for these and they fit really well with a pair of thick socks.There isn't much room at the top around the calves/leg but a perfect fit for me and I prefer a tight fit rather than the look of a loose boot. Very Happy with my new Hunter Wellies! **** good fit and comfy bit terrible quality. the top layer starts to peel and then comes off leaving a white ish looking film over the boot which can't be cleaned off. Hunter terrible customer service too. waste of money. I now have a nice pair of joules wellies which are much cheaper and look nicer too.

These are high quality products and this is the second time I have bought these wellington boots. Last lasted about 10 years so definitely cant complain. Hope these are the same but obviously too early to say yet

I love the hunter boots although my last few pairs have not lasted long enough! Hoping the quality not going down.I have a slim calf so these boots are absolutely perfect - and have not found another pair that fits so well.

Edit - review updated six months in:I really hope these are fake knock-off because the alternative is that a great British brand seems to have gone sadly downhill.After just a month, a crack opened up in the ankle. I thought maybe I'd caught it on a sharp rock -my fault- so glued it and carried on. One month later a crack appeared along the toe seam. Also glued. Now cracks are appearing everywhere.I was so confident in the brand, I threw out the box and 'certificate' and they're also covered in so much glue, I don't think they would be accepted back.Really sad as they're still really comfortable.For reference, I walked the dog in them for about an hour each day for most of the winter, less so in summer. Mud, pebble beaches, salt water etc - but my husband's Muckboots have weathered fine.If you're tempted to buy these, make sure you keep all the info to return them._______________________I love Hunters, always have - they are, for me, the ultimate comfy walking boots where I can go for miles over various terrains without blisters. But I have pretty slim calves and it's still a real struggle to fit anything other than a wellie sock there. I need a heavy duty boot jack to get them off too.The tightness around the calves and ankles is what makes them so comfortable for walking imho so it's not something I would complain about, but I do warn you that unless you consider yourselve to have slim calves, heed the warnings of the other reviews and do not buy these. Instead go for the stretchy/bigger calf version.

Lovely boots at a quality you’d expect from Hunter, but the calf was very narrow. I am a fell Walker so have quite muscly legs but I couldn’t even get these on! My old Hunter wellies are 13+ years old (and just leaking in now) and they fit perfect so I don’t know if the sizing has shrunk over the years?

These are the snow boots which I chose because I live in Ohio. Excellent tread, colorto brighten a gray snowy day.
