Perfect Travel Companion: Quest Black Travel Kettle
If you're in the market for a reliable and portable kettle, look no further than the Quest Black Travel Kettle with 2 Cups. This little gem has completely transformed my camping experience. With its lightweight and compact design, it’s perfect for use in a camper van or even during a holiday.First off, the quality of this kettle is impressive. It feels robust and well-made, which is reassuring when you're on the road. While the power of 600W means it won’t boil water as quickly as my 2kW kettle at home, the trade-off is worth it for its versatility and convenience when camping. I appreciate its dual voltage capability (AC 110-120V / 220-240V), making it suitable for worldwide use, which is a real bonus for those who love to travel abroad. The handy 500ml capacity is just right for brewing a couple of cups of tea or coffee, and it comes with two cups, which is incredibly convenient. Admittedly, the cups are plastic and not my preferred choice for enjoying a hot drink, but they serve their purpose well for on-the-go settings. I often use mine with an Allpowers power bank, and it works flawlessly. One of the features I particularly love is the cord storage, which helps keep the kettle tidy and organized in my compact camper van space. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend this little kettle to anyone in need of a low-wattage solution for their travel needs. It’s user-friendly, efficient, and reliable—a must-have for any traveling enthusiast!

Convenient size for travel, a practical kettle and reasonable speed
I bought this for a trip to the US, as I was expecting that my hotel rooms would not have kettles, only coffee machines. I recommend this model.I actually tried several different types of travel kettle, but I happiest with this one. I just spent a week in 2 hotels in USA, and it was excellent. Of course it comes with a UK plug, but I have a good quality plug adaptor that I also carry.Positives:- it holds enough water for 2 standard mugs of tea- it is not too large or bulky to carry in luggage- as it has a voltage selector switch 110/220v, it boils in 5-6 minutes on either voltage.-auto switch-off when boilingNegatives:- if you have been using it in a country at 110V you MUST remember to switch back to 220V for a country with 220-240V supply. (I have found that auto-multi-voltage kettles are very slow to boil on 110V).- the lid is quite tight, and the "handle" is only pressed into place and can be pulled out (a bit of glue secures it and a few seconds with a file solves the tight lid).- not really a negative, but for me the included cups are not needed, I hate to drink out of plastic.I see that many reviewers criticise that the power-lead is permanently attached, or that the kettle does not have a separate power-base. To implement those things would increase the size and weight. This is designed as a compact travel kettle, not intended for full time use.

Great little travel Kettle
I ordered a couple of kettles to check out which was best for travel. This one is tops, fitted into my backpack (traveled to Spain), it is light and although I had no use for the two little cups, they are a nice add on. It did take awhile to heat up but it works! I recommend this product.

Shocking build quality!
Worked twice, then the switch broke. Utter rubbish. Plastic is such poor quality it bends in the breeze!

Does the job
This is a good enough kettle but takes about 10 or more minutes to boil. I dont mine that so much because im never in that much of a rush. the problem i have is that the wire is a fixed wire and its very short and i am always catching it when trying to pure the water and it splashes and burns my hand. I have obviously started to unplug it before puring it now but think i look for one with a separate power cord next time.

Perfect for a single person but not very robust construction
I use this at home.It has a small enough capacity that I can fill to just below the MAX line and I can then boil exactly one mug full of water. I'm not wasting any water or any electricity. I just boil the exact amount of water I need for 1 coffee or 1 cup a soup.It is a low wattage which means it takes a slightly long amount to time to boil. But that is fine for me as I usually switch on the kettle then wander off to browse whilst it boils. Also takes up only a small amount of space on the worktop. The build quality is somewhat lightweight though.Would I buy this again? Well, basically, considering the price, then yes! It's a no brainer especially if you are single etc.

Fab little kettle!
This is a great little kettle! It's just big enough to make 2 decent mugs of tea, which also means it's small enough to not take up half your suitcase when you're going on holiday. The kettle is quiet and takes a while to boil, but I don't care, I only care that I can make loads of tea in my room! Two tiny cups are included. They are utterly pointless, and I will probably throw them away.Recommended.

I bought this kettle for the office to make things easy, ready-use and light
I should have read the previous comment as I experienced the same situation - This is a dual voltage kettle but with a UK electrical plug, which is larger than the North American one. I bought this kettle for the office to make things easy, ready-use and light. Adding an adapter to my already busy power bar does not work for me so I am returning the product. Plus side: The kettle is very nice looking; ships very fast to Canada; helpful seller. Thanks

Excellent low wattage kettle
We have used our kettle plugged via the inverter on our camper trailer and found it perfect for making a cup of tea or coffee without having to hook up gas no. We can literally stop at the side of the road and make a brew. Perfect size for two cups. Quick to boil. Also shipped very quickly to Australia

What I expected but it was not clear that it ...
What I expected but it was not clear that it came with a European plug. However it was dual voltage so I purchased an adapter. So add another $14 to the purchase price makes for an expensive kettle.

Great for a hot drink on the road.
Bought this for our road trips and have a battery power station to run it. The jugs 600 watt draw was the key feature that attracted us, it does two cups and reasonably quick to the boil.
