Great little magnets - i am using them to stick grow lamps to some metal shelving to create an indoor greenhouse. Two magnets are enough to hold up each lamp which is fortunate as i have 4 lamps and two of the magnets were in pieces on arrival. Adhesive perfectly adequate

The magnets are great, and have a good strength for such a small size. They will hold a medium pair of scissors or a small kitchen knife on a vertical surface easily, although, because they are only 1 mm thick, a knife will sit at an angle, as the magnet does not protrude enough from the surface for it to sit straight, unless you're attaching it by the handle. The reason they only get 4 stars is the adhesive: it's not nearly strong enough for the magnets, and comes off really quickly. I made sure I cleaned and then wiped down the surfaces with alcohol to de-grease, and one of 2 magnets still came off within a few days. Others, the adhesive just slid half or fully off the magnet pretty much straight out of the box. Since, I've bought magnets without adhesive and stuck them up with Tesa Powerstrips rated for up to 2 kg, but cut the strip down to the size of the magnet, and those are far bigger magnets, with more than double the pull of these, and so far, they show no sign of coming loose.. I prepared the surfaces exactly the same way as for these magnets. In future, I won't bother with the self-adhesive ones, just apply adhesive strips myself..

Bought these to use for an iPhone 13 holder. Using 3 magnets together still would not hold the phone. I was also using a metal plate on the back of the phone to maximise magnetic strength. The iPhone still kept sliding off.

My fault I still measure in feet and inches so I don't know why they can't give both for the likes of elderly people, I always get mixed up. They did the job but would have been happier with slightly larger ones

If you're looking for a practical, good quality and strong magnet to stick things up, this is perfect. I was unfortunately trying to make a set of joke magnets for a colleague and was hoping for more of a gimmick. 5/5 on magnets, 3/5 on marketing.

These 15mm diameter adhesive-back magnets stay put once stuck down. Because the adhesive goes off quickly, always carefully mark out where exactly you want to position the magnet.I love them! But please be careful not to trap your fingers in-between two magnets because it hurts.I have no hesitation recommending Magnet Expert® magnets and my 15mm are very good value indeed. 🙂
