Plantronics SupraPlus HW251/A Wideband Monaural Voice Tube Headset - Black

This is a great headset for regular but not constant use. While it is comfortable to wear, the lack of in-line volume control can be a little irritating, even with the handset at the lowest setting it's still too loud.

Very comfortable and not too quiet. I work from home and initially got a headset with my phone headset which broke after a few days of constant use. This one has held up very well! I can handle using it for long hours without injury or an achy ear.

I was given this headset by IT at work for use with my BT Converse 2100 telephone. I was initially blown away by the novelty of having a headset because I spend a lot of time on the telephone every day and I need to be able to use my computer at the same time. The headset gave me back my hands - both of them - and believe me I can type a lot quicker with two than with one.This is a monoaural headset with a very long cable, a quick release clip in the middle to help prevent strangling yourself with the cables, and an RJ11 jack that fits into the hole on the bottom of the phone. Take care before you buy one of these to make sure you have the right sized hole for the jack as most phones these days won't take a headset. Also, make sure you get one WITH the bottom cable. Mine was supplied this way, but some sellers don't include the bottom cable.The headset can be worn on the left or right ear and you can change sides just by rotating the speaking tube to the front or the back and then turning the headset around. The single earpiece has a foam cover which is comfortable enough in use. A flexible arm with an oval pad goes over your head and holds the headset in place and it's fairly easy to adjust the length of the arm in order to the size that you need.Getting the positioning of the speaker tube is very important and I am repeatedly asked by people to speak up and then find if I wiggle the tube and put it really close to my mouth, they think I'm speaking louder. This means it's not a headset to wear when you're eating a bag of crisps or breathing heavily (unless of course you've got a secrecy button on your phone).So is it worth it?This was my first headset and my initial impressions were very good but now that I have a total of three headsets - this one, another Plantronics monoaural that plugs into my computer and a binaural set that I bought for home - I have to say that it's the weakest of the three. The biggest problem with a monoaural headset is that I really struggle to cut out extraneous noise and with this headset and the BT Converse 2100, the volume cannot be adjusted during a call. I also find that the advantage of getting back both of my hands is totally lost if I then have to use one of them to press the phone into my ear.If you have a home office or work in a quiet place with very little noise around you, then this headset is pretty good. If you work in a call centre or sit next to someone who doesn't know when to shut up, you may well be feeling suicidal after a short time. If I hadn't subsequently bought better headsets, I would probably still be telling you that this one was great - and indeed if I hadn't thought it was great, I wouldn't have got two more. But compared to the others, it's the weakest of the three.

The plantonics Supraplus is a good quality mono headset. The sound is clear and it is comfortable to wear.

Plantronics are normally first class. This item, when used with the Plantronics MO300 Cable (for iPhone) did not work with my brand new iPhone 6s.I had phoned Plantronics. They told me which (bottom) cable to buy (the Plantronics MO300 Cable). It did not work with the iPhone.

Fantastic headsets to use for work phone

These are good, had the same make a few years back, & that one is packing up. so bought a new one, bit more plasticky but still works fine. Plantronics are head & shoulders better than their competitors.

Seit vier Jahren nutze ich Headsets von Plantronics. Nun war es soweit für meine neuen Systemtelefone im Büro auch Headsets anzuschaffen.Das Model HW251/A ist aus meiner Sicht eine klare Empfehlung. So viel Qualität & Komfort gibt es selten zu einem recht günstigen Preis. Die Sprachqualität für mich als Hörer, aber auch für den Zuhörer ist 1A. Auch die Verabeitung des Headsets ist bemerkenswert. Daraus folgt auch, dass es sehr bequem ist.

Il n'y a pas d'adaptateur livré avec le casque, il faut impérativement acheter un boitier à part pour le connecter à un téléphone normal.Je n'ai pas pu essayer le produit.

El sonido es perfecto, totalmente compatible con teléfono IP Cisco. Aunque el material es poco resistente. Se trata de los más básicos en su gama. Los que me enviaron primero llegaron partidos, pero Amazon rápidamente me envió unos nuevos al día siguiente, sin coste.

Ich hatte vorher einen billig Kopfhöhrer am Telefon und die Gesprächspartner dachten immer, ich sitzte gerade im Flugzeug. Mit diesem Kopfhörer ist jetzt Schluss damit. Der Ton bei mir und beim Gesprächspartner ist glas klar....
