Big beast of a case with lots of airflow, but too much flex when open
I got this for my new AM4 build. I considered so many cases, but this one, functionally, seemed closest to my old HAF X, with bags of room and huge airflow. The top PSU is a mixed blessing, but for air cooling it works well. Though my PCIE cables only just reach the GPU.Cable management isn't easy, there isn't enough room behind the motherboard tray. But that's so often the case and if you are patient you can make it work. It won't comfortably take the Corsair Shifts, which is a design flaw, as they would have been great together. The fans aren't exactly quiet, even in a sensible fan curve, but they do shift air and they put it where you need it. The fan hub is useful, though not essential. I put three fans through it, the other two in my m/board, because I wanted different curves, tied to the CPU and GPU temps.Having the front IO ports on top, facing up, is annoying, but I get that having then in the more potential forward facing position would spoil the look. The lid being plastic feels wrong and contributes to the whole thing being hard to lift, as it's hard to grip solid metal. The biggest flaw is that with the panels off the case has too much flex. When I moved it to lay it down, to add a new GPU, I saw just how much the motherboard then twists in the case. It hasn't caused a fault to develop yet and it's not something I'd do often, but it's very disconcerting. So the case isn't perfect. There's a few little gripes, with the flex being the only serious problem. It does look great and has amazing air flow, even if I still prefer my old HAF X for function and robustness.Good value in the class of cases it's in.

Worst case scenario
This is a very good case for an air cooled build and really helps keep temperatures low. However it’s RRP is £139.99 and due to the build quality it isn’t worth anything over this.I take it the positive reviews have led to a price hike. However having recently bought this case there are issues many reviewers did not mention. The GPU holder is really bad and just horrible to position and use. You also have to blindly screw it in place with your left hand so it’s no good if your right handed. Also the cable cut out holes for the motherboard are too small and badly positioned to the point the usb header cable on the case has to be more exposed if you want a secure fit. Also the bottom fan tray is finicky and will pop up when trying to reinsert it.It is a large case, but it’s like working in a small case and shares problems you would expect from the compact and nano versions. Still, if you want good air cooling there probably isn’t much better and it’s nice they make a solid, non glass, no rgb version. Just don’t pay an extra 100 quid over RRP for it.Edit: As you can see from the photo, if you want to add a 180mm fan you can’t because the case cables and case cut outs cause obstruction. Fractal were completely in control of this and released the case with the issues. In reality if you want to have cables connected to the bottom of the motherboard you have to use 140mm or 120mm fans. This is a very bad design and not the kind of problem you would expect from such a large case.

Great case for air cooling and first time builder
This case was used for my first pc build. I didn't max out the fan size or budget and I still get reasonable temperatures while stressing out the system so airflow is adequate with the fans I have while still being pretty quiet. Internal access during assembly was excellent and cable management was easy even for a noob like me (although I could've done better with neatness). The case looks great. It is slightly bigger than my old 2009 MacPro this system was replacing. My only gripe would be the plastic on the case seems fragile as well as the ports on top. That could just be that my old system was a heavy aluminum chassis and I was used to that. I wouldn't hesitate going with this case again though.

Fantastic Cooling
This is my new forever case, the cooling is amazing and with all the fans included its a great value.

4.5 stars but I'll round up. This is a great case, no question
I really like this case with the solid side panel. I know tempered glass looks great and generally pretty durable, but I prefer the idea of metal since this won't really be a showpiece. The fans are pretty quiet unless running at high speeds, and building inside this case was really easy. Lots of room and the cable ties make it easy to keep things fairly organized. A 4090 easily clears inside this case without bending the 4X PCIe -> 12VHPWR adapter severely. The biggest negative I've discovered is the lack of handles on this case or easy way to pick it up. The top panel is plastic and not designed for picking up from, so you pretty much have to carry it from the bottom any time you want to move it. In other words, not the case to go for if you want to haul your rig around to LAN parties.Something that's not necessarily a negative or positive but just to be aware of is that the front panel audio connectors don't seem to have a TRRS connector, so you'll need to split out separate headphone/mic jacks. Would have been nice to see a Y adapter come with the case so that you can connect your typical 3.5mm gaming headset. This is my favorite case to date though. No, it's not the quietest, but for an air cooled build it offers unrivaled performance. If you're thinking of adding water, maybe look at saving a few bucks with a Meshify 2 or 2XL.
