great for a train buff like me
If you like trains, and I do, these are pretty much a must have for your tree, or even just to put on a shelf display at Christmas time. They are a little heavy for a tree, and tend to bend the branches down quite a bit, so I positioned them on a branch that had a shorter limb, which gave it a bit more sturdiness. These are made of a metal of sorts, not a plastic, which is what I would have thought to be a better choice for a tree ornament. Still, they are nice. The paint job is very good, wouldn't pass for a discriminating modeler on a layout, but very good just the same. The lettering is clean and crisp. The size of the locos are about N scale, if you know what that is, and they almost fit the N scale track, but not quite.

Good quality gift
My son (5yo) loves trains and is fascinated with this particular model. It's a small ornament, very good quality. The wheels even move. He was very happy to have it as a gift. It is heavy, so it will have to go on a strong branch.

Worth it.
Well-detailed considering its size. I really like anything related to the N&W, so this was perfect. Also, the wheels can turn a little!

Well made ornament
My grandson is a train aficionado and I purchased this and the tender for Christmas this year. I know he'll really like it. The Hallmark train series is well done and that I can find some of the older issues is great.
