This seat seems designed to stop pain from having your front and rear bits squashed, and it's very effective. Because it's not a standard big-bum seat, but has a gap in the middle, there is slightly added pressure on the left and right buttocks compared with e.g. a London Cycle Hire seat. However, compared with the narrow seats which as a bloke I'm used to, the absence of bum-torture is bliss. I think this is basically the best bike seat you can get if you're looking to avoid pile pain.

This looks nice and is well made. I wouldn't say it was 10/10 comfortable but I didn't feel the need to stand up from the seat after an hours gravel riding. It doesn't eliminate the soreness but definitely softens it so that it is much more bearable. I think this is the best slim line, comfort seat for this price

Have these saddles on all 5 of my bikes. Cannot be beaten for comfort in my opinion. Saddles are a very personal thing and what suits one might not suit another. But these are definitely my favourite and I rode the coast to coast on one which was 150 miles.

I've done about 200 miles on the saddle now and its great to not to have the perineum pressure I had before on my flat gel saddle.The slim profile at the front of the saddle also allows more vertical leg movement and less friction.It took a couple of rides to get used to having pressure in more focused areas but I'm very happy wit it now.

Found the seat has a plastic insert in the middle air part, which I could feel.. Im 90 kilos in weight..

This replaced my old Selle Royal Respiro Moderate Saddle and is jus as comfortable even though its slightly narrower (I'm on the larger well built side). I'm amazed how cool the black material stays whilst in bright sunshine. I have completed around 700 miles on it and no issues. I have also fitted the Fizik saddle bag which just clips in. All round this is a great saddle for touring and commuting

Looks good - helpful male cutout but thin gel compresses easily leaving your bum bones riding on the plastic base!

This feels like you're riding your bike on a couch. it's amazing. The cooling functionality isn't really noticeable but I guess it's better than nothing. it's a bit heavy but def worth it. You can remove the mesh on the cooling part of it to make it better. If you care about your butt health, definitely get this.

Im Gegensatz zu üblichen Gelsätteln führt die Belüftung bei Hitze dazu, dass man noch angenehm fahren kann und nicht im eigenen Saft schmort

I held off buying a gel seat because I didnt want to add weight or bulkyness to my mountain bike. But after since getting back to biking, I found it was too discomforting so I had to try something new. Ive tried selle royals before but this time i went with an athletic which is narrower and lighter than the others. Its bulkly in size when compared to the standard xc saddles but so far i have no regrets. The comfort was worth giving up minimal weight thats not noticeable at all.
