FluvalNylon Media Bag

We purchased the FX4 filter last year which came with two really good, superfine media bags that are so amazing they take Seachem Purigen. I checked the manual and the bags were listed as A1428, I checked Fluval website and on here and this product is also listed as A1428. However, it isn't the same product that is supplied with the FX4?!This filter bag is absolutely no good for something as fine as Purigen, I can still utilise it for other media I have as it's too late to return. But where I can get the actual media bags that are supplied with the FX series because they are honestly so good, even if they aren't quite so resilient?

Works well as my media bag. Doesn’t let much rubbish in and washes out well. The closing loop is a bit bulky but is secure.

Does what it says on the label time will tell as to it durability

Not a lot wrong with these, the bag fibre is strong and tight enough to prevent leakage but the "device" supplied to seal the bag closed leaves a lot to be desired.

I bought this for Seachem Purigen I use in my Fish tank. Holds it well. Much cheaper than 'The Bag' and better than the cheap rubbish out there. Would recommend.

These filter bags are a decent size and will fit anything in them. The plastic seal is very straightforward to work.

Exactly as stated and perfect for filling with phosphate remover and placing inside my filter.
