Triopo Bowens Mount Quick Release Octagon Soft Box,Portable Octagon Umbrella Softbox With Honeycomb Grid (120 cm / 47.2 inch)

This is an easily portable large softbox which has two layers of diffusion and a grid which can be used in various combinations. It produces good soft light and does well with speedlights. It sets up and packs away easily. Recommended.

Takes seconds to put up and take down, so much easier than the standard ones with rods and Velcro to put up and down. Nice thick fabric and solid hinges, it’s more money but the quality is there. Plus the size at 120cm it’s great for torso/full body shots with soft light.

Once it’s assembled, and up, it works perfectly. The Bowen’s mount falls off when the modifier is collapsed and you try to put it in the bag. The rods need to somehow be inserted and solid like the smaller 90cm one which I love. Otherwise it’s a great deal.

I have many softboxes and portability for me is key. I bought the 120cm version of this. Materials and construction are on par with price...this is similar to Smallrig's LA series, not the DA series. One trick is to hook the elastic fabric at the base of each rib to the little hooks on the Bowens mount...the ribs will stay put when opening and closing the softbox. The front diffusion needs to be about 50% thicker...it's a little thin for full diffusion. But that doesn't bother me that much. Overall, a decent and very portable large softbox.

Había visto solo videos y no los veía tan grandes a como llego pero me viene perfecto para mi trabajo de fotografía de alimentos y retratos.Calidad excelente como siempre triopo.Ahora voy por el de 90 cm para cuando no tenga mucho espacio en el restaurante.

Für den Preis echt einwandfrei. In einem anderen Kommentar steht aber, dass die Speichen im zusammengeklappten Zustand nicht halten, allerdings muss man einfach nur die dafür vorgesehenen Gummibänder in die Haken einhängen (wie im Foto gezeigt) und schon ist das Problem gelöst :)
