It heats water very efficiently burning anything that will give a flame
This will boil water in pretty much any kind of weather providing the fuel is dry. The stronger the gale the faster the burn and the design allows very little rain to interfere no matter how stormy the weather. If you want a hot drink while on the wild side, this is the kit you need

Love mine
Had one for years, excellent quality and never had any problems with it. Boils water with a minimum of dry wood in the centre and doesn’t take long to ignite it either.Also got the rack and coke kit/hobo thing to go with it. Excellent. Bag is pants though, bought an upgraded and more robust oilskin one from blueangelical.co.uk. Love that too, excellent quality fabric and attention to detail. Great to deal with, bought one of their lined oilskin ponchos too ;-) lovvvvvve it.

Super efficient
Gave this as a gift and the feedback has all been positive. Has been used numerous times already and each time performed really well.

Really great for hiking or camping as it means you don't have to carry a stove in addition to this

but otherwise it's amazing how quickly this boils a kettleful of water on ...
Can't go hiking or camping without it! Only time I've struggled is camping on some boggy moors where there was only heath which burned too poorly to really get things going, but otherwise it's amazing how quickly this boils a kettleful of water on a handful of twigs!
