Complete
If you are going to buy just one activity book for your Year 4 child this year, buy this one. It's complete. It follows the 2014 curriculum (current) in the order it is taught in schools.Every page has a top section in which the explanations are given in the most straightforward, clearest way.The best thing about it is that it doesn't have silly illustration on every inch of every page and our son loves this.I wish I'd discovered these Scholastic editions in KS1, but I'm glad I've done it at all.I'll be sticking with them for both English and maths until Year 6.

Using series for last 2 years
Used the Year 2 and Year 3 Maths Practice Workbook, and this is similar and good. Just check with your child what they did on the day and get them to practice the same page in the book. Perfect Maths HomeWork, I have seen a remarkable improvement in the confidence level :)

good for children
This maths book is good for children who struggle a bit in maths and don't understand a few questions. This is really helpful for children in year 4 aged 8/9. But I wish the questions told you what you have to do but I would still recommend buying this book for your child because it is very educational and worth buying.

Excellent study aid for my (now) 9-year old
Laid out well, lots of exercises. Good practice for my son although not overly challenging (I did consider buying the Year 5 book to stretch him but he wouldn't have covered any of the topics so didn't bother!)Would recommend it for either bringing your child up-to-speed or to simply give additional examples for them to work on

Content is very good and it’s according to national Curriculum
I bought this for my daughter , so she can practice at home . She loved it and very excited to finish it so she can get her certificate which is all that in the end of the book . It’s great to encourage the kid .

Good for extending what they know
My year 4 daughter loved this book. She’s grasped the basics and this book helped her to gain confidence and develop her skills.

Too easy
Lovely book for my son to work through as nicely laid out and simple but it's way too easy. My son hates Maths and is bottom of Maths in his year, thus the extra help here but he's sailing through this without any errors. Great confidence booster but not challenging enough.

Excellent book
Recommended by my daughters teacher to all the parents of the class as this is what they are using at school, very good book and my daughter loves doing the work sheets at home as well as in class.
