Love it! It's very sturdy, easy to get various thickness via the rotating knob, easy to clean, has very sharp blade (be careful!), makes slicing peeled persimmons simple and fast. I should have bought this years ago instead of hand slicing. Now I am eager to try this on vegetables. To thoroughly dry this I had to position it in various angles. I highly recommend this mandolin vs plastic ones.

Overall this is a good product. Very solidly built. It will last a long time. It is pretty darn big, so will take up some space in the cabinets, but far less space than other models where you have to swap out pieces.I did have some trouble trying to julienne a cucumber for a recipe. It was hard to get the guide handle to stick to the cucumber, and hence difficulty getting it to move through the cutter. This thing is very sharp, so I definitely wasn't looking to mess around and try to force it through.In conclusion, it's worth the purchase. Just watch your fingers.

Great product !! Easy !!

Made a ratatouille with this and it worked great. Super sharp, comes with a guard and a glove so you don’t cut yourself. It is bigger then I expected but it works really well
