Hot Water Cylinder Jacket.
I purchased this cylinder jacket to improve the foam insulation on my hot water cylinder where some of the foam had to be removed to allow the cylinder to fit in the cupboard. I had no problems fitting the jacket which is in three sections, the cord for the top was fine, and the squared off top of the sections layed down and folded over each other easily, just leaving the supplied tapes to tie around the cylinder to finish. All in all a very good jacket for the money and easy to fit.

Keeps the heat in
The hot water tank was in a cupboard in the spare bedroom, it was like an oven in there every day. Until I decided to try this out, now it’s just normal room temperature again.Relatively easy to put on, even with my tank which seemed to have a lot more pipes going to and from it than normal.

Exactly What Was Required
The item arrived in excellent time and it took my wife and me around about 40 minutes to fit the Cylinder Jacket. It was a two-person operation in our case as the tank is situated in a very tight space in the airing cupboard, though I suspect two sets of hands would always make the fitting easier. No quibbles about the cost or quality. Make sure your tank is completely cold first before fitting however!!

It's big!
Good quality and certainly does the job but seems bigger than the stated measurements. One day I'll get around to tidying it up a bit. Good value.

Really holds the heat
Bought this to cover our new hot water tank which just had sprayed on foam. It was a little bit of a faff to fit with the string for the top of the 4 panels (you attach them separately and tie together) being a bit too short to make this easy. If your tank is in a cupboard then you will need long arms to get around the back and also make sure you don't cover the immersion heater. Once on however you can really feel how it retains the heat so hopefully this will reduce our gas bill!

Does the job!
It really is a simple jacket to fit and given that it has to accommodate different tank sizes it looks ok.I used some string I had rather than the ties it came with (though they would have done the job). The slits in the base of plastic cover are intentional (I only realised after I'd started taping over!).Note in the photos that I have left the tank thermostat uncovered.I don't ever use the electric immersion element of my tank so in my case I have covered the tank fully with the jacket at the top.Only negative is that B&Q were doing the same jacket cheaper though having it delivered to the house saves on time and petrol.
