plastic smell/taste
I have run water in it a couple times and tea kettle smells heavily of plastic/chemicals and tastes plastic. Will run a few more times but will probably return it.

No complaints other than ithis kettle is terribly noisy. No regrets though. Works wonderfully and looks nice in my kitchen.
