What a Ride
This book was so amazing. From the first page that I read I felt like I was in a pretzel factory. There were so many twists and turns that I could hardly keep up. The characters were great and very diverse. The sisters were about as different as you could get. And finding out about their mother 20 years later was a brilliant twist. But, it never stopped there were still twists that were so unexpected that made this book one of the greatest books that I've read in a while. Super fast paced. Nothing is what it seems.

great for reading in bed
I thought the book had such a different story, it kept me guessing. I just felt it could have been less description on the twin thing, i started to just skip the description of twins . I do recommend to buy , you will be surprised of the outcome. It is very well written and will buy more of the books listed.

Great Read with Lots of Twists
I like dialogue-heavy books. This one didn’t disappoint. The twists didn’t just clog up the end of the book, it had a natural progression. I recommend this book!

just ok
I think this is just not my writing style. The dialogue is extremely repetitive. What do I mean by that? She narrates her thoughts then expresses those exact same thoughts in a conversation one page later to another character or she has a conversation with one character then repeats the conversation to another character one page later. It is very annoying to read and could slim the book down by probably one third if she would just say “I told them what happened”. It also seems extremely juvenile. I feel like she has to spell everything out multiple times as if we wouldn’t get it if she didn’t. All in all I wouldn’t recommend it. I probably won’t read any of her other books.

A Good Read
This was a 3.5 but I rounded up because I really like the author. Complex plot bordering on too convoluted for its own good. I guessed some of the twists before we got there in the story so some surprises not terribly out of the blue. I actually expected one more that didn’t happen. This is a story of consequences, the ripple effect of one decision on one’s future and those in our lives. It drew me in, had me picking sides and trying to figure out the puzzle pieces. Trying to do what is right for everyone can be a losing proposition for all. Characters were developed well enough I liked some and couldn’t stand others — not because they were villains but because they had certain personality traits I really dislike. There were a couple of TSTL moments but the story has to move forward somehow. Story started feeling like a therapy session towards the end so I scanned past it. Probably will not reread this one but I enjoyed being part of their world for a couple of days.

So many twists and turns
Brynn receives a call that her mother is in the hospital from a gun shot and might be dying. That's a shock since her mother has been dead for twenty years. As she tries to figure out what happened to her mother, Brynn and her twin find themselves in danger. I thought this was a really interesting suspense story and not the usual plot.

Excellent story
This story had me mesmerised from the beginning to the end. There was so many twists and turns and the mystery and intrigue was so compelling that I couldn’t put the book down. I guessed one of the plot lines but was continually surprised as the story progressed. One thing seemed incorrect in that the name of Laura at university was said to be Kim but she only changed her name to that when she and her twin changed their identities after leaving.Even with this little inconsistency the book is absolutely amazing.

amazing book
Wow. What an amazing story. I can’t even begin to know how to explain all the nuances this book had. The story was incredibly complex but not so you didn’t understand. The characters were full of depth and complicated. I didn’t see the twists and turns this story took either. I was hooked from the beginning. Wonderful narration too.

Didn't read like a Barbara Freethy book
Her usual books are engaging and the characters come alive. This one was stilted and I had a hard time even finishing it. Very disappointing from an author I normally love.
