Pictures are not representative of what these look like. Pics make it look opaque and two toned, but they're actually transparent. The lighter color on half is just because they're pictured on a white wall.

These shelves are as vivid as the pictures and are soooo cute. We hung them on our rust orange wall to display vinyl records and they work perfectly. They're lightweight, durable, and hold the records well. I'm sure we could also display a candle or vase with them if we wanted, but they're perfect as is. Would definitely buy more!
