Really good item works well doesn't last too long in the air but comes out the machine great

Just received this item.Well packaged, easy to set up.Instructions say load up to 5kg of ice but there is no way you could put 5kg of ice in this using usual ice cubes, still the effect worked with 2kg ice bag.It says the ice will last about 3 hours, but the ice was melting quite quickly, we noticed some water leakage from the front, which is problematic - it should only escape from the back of the machine outlet.Biggest issue is that we could not get any output from this unit at all - to begin with.And I suspect a fault? I would be interested to hear other owners thoughts.Instructions say to fill the tank with low lying fog juice, which we did.It then says to securely tighten the lid on the tank - which we did.No output at all when any button pressed on the remote.However releasing the tank lid, output started. Output stopped when the lid was tightened.I suspect an issue with tightening the lid leads to a vacuum building up stopping the juice from being pumped out of the tank.Only when the lid was lightly tightened or left loose were we able to get reliable output.Remote timer: Even on the fastest interval, the interval was about 30 seconds - too long. Longest interval is, well, tooooo long.The output setting only seems to begin about 40% dial setting with a small output - good, but turning the dial lower seems to get no output, i.e. you have to turn the output up quite far to get anything at all.

This fluid, in my machine (weedy little ADJ Mini Fog) doesn't produce as "thick" an output as generic smoke machine fluid achieves.But, *ONCE CHILLED*, the fog does a fairly decent job of staying low. It's not super long-lasting, so the fog will vanish before it rises up very high. This will depend a heck of a lot on the airflow in the place you use it, but it's certainly more likely to stay mostly below knee-level than regular fog fluid.I'm playing around with DIY fog chillers with varying degrees of success. You would get the easiest good results from a proper low-fog machine (ADJ Mr Kool or similar - something with a tank you put ice cubes in) but there's tons of guides around to give you ideas for DIY fog chilling if you want to go that route.If you don't chill the fog, it doesn't really stay low. Not very surprising, given that what comes out of the nozzle on a regular smoke machine is a blast of hot steam!

Arrived on time, but unfortunately had to send it back because it leaked all over the floor. The water was coming out through the back fan, a bit scary when you have electricity on. Takes about 1 min to warm up which is great, used ice cubes from local grocery store and fog was thick. Remote was not working as it should and had to keep a button pressed down. I bought this and expecting the fog to stay low, but after a short while it started to lift from ground. Not the effects we were after. Will have to look for another product to suit my needs. Return process was easy, thank you Amazon.

I love this item. The main problem now is to try and keep the fog to floor. I got two different fluids, a premiun one and a low fog juice one. But because im sending this to portugal, i havent tryed properly, i guess. It does a lot of smoke :) but i couldnt keep it to the ground, maybe because of the ice, or the fluid... i dont know. When I get to Portugal Ill get more time to work on it... But still, i love this item. 4 stars because i couldnt keep the fog to the ground, probably my fault :)))Ps: Sorry about my english :P

I cannot express how good this is......absolutely spews out low level ground crawling fog...filled my kitchen in 10 seconds and when I opened the doors went right through the house....crazy..was watching tv through the fog for ages after!!Will look amazing at Halloween ...i connected a 6 meter hose an put holes in it and run under the front of the house...looks cool expecially being on a Timer as well...just set it and leave...works perfect. I was a bit afraid as it looked identical to the Beamz machines but half the price....I needn't have worried...quality machine without the nametag and half the price.I cant recommend enough

I wanted a low smoke machine for stage use which would be compact and have a reasonable output. This machine as a higher rated output than the apparently similar ATMOTECH/FOGTEC ZERO G Fogger, but having seen both the look identical and I believe QTFX are just overoptimistic. Also the noisy fan runs all the time it is on blowing air over the ice and using it up. However I am told all these machines are the same. They may be OK for disco use, but I cannot recommend this one for stage use and I have no confidence other 900W models would be any better.

Certainly kicks out and it is thicker but i dunno about it staying low . It seems to rise a fair bit . Hard to tell whether its any better than the normal stuff .
