Promising start, I will update after a while after product testing by my kids! Having had our first set of locks tested to destruction I was looking for a replacement and the reviews on these seemed to tick the boxes. I like the shape of the keeper which seems strong in comparison to others. Arrived quickly and well packed, with a nice follow up email. Instructions are basic but with a little thought and planning, in summary they are easy to fit. A set square and steel rule come in very handy for fitting. The tricky bit is setting the position of the lock. We have a Howdens kitchen and the door handle screws clashed with where I wanted the lock to go. I ended up fitting the locks approx 85mm in board from the edge of the door. The height of the lock is dictated by the edge of the keeper when mounted in the door opening. Mounting the keeper at 85mm centres to match the door I then measured the edge down from a line drawn on the carcass frame which indicates the top of the door. This is where the set square and steel rule comes in handy as these slide into the thin gap above the door. With everything marked up and allowing a tiny margin for clearance I lightly stuck the lock and keeper in place. Initially it wasn't catching fully so a slight adjustment on the keeper had a good fit. If you have a torch you can shine this in the gap at the door when closed to check how good the lock is catching. A little bit of tweaking and it was fitted and working well. Probably 15 - 20 mins to fit the first one, thereafter I had the base measurements and procedure and quickly had the others fitted. I found with the others adjusting the lock height rather than the keeper seemed to work best for final adjustment. I just used the strong 3M supplied sticky pads but I am going to screw the keepers in place for added security. My sons will test these well, the thought of boxes of cereal and other goodies hidden in a cupboard that they can't get into will mean the locks will get a thrashing !!

These were more expensive than the normal screw-in ones, but as we are renting, I wanted locks that do not damage the landlord's property. I read that someone had positioned the locks with sellotape first to check they had the right spot and I also did that for the first few, which worked really well. But I found after fixing the first ones in place, I managed to estimate really well just with line of sight and did the rest without any measuring or sellotaping. Long story short, it wasn't the palaver I thought it was going to be to install them, and now they are in place I think they are just brilliant. You can flick a switch to turn them off when you don't need the cupboards to be locked, and the magnets are good and strong, as are the sticky back fixings (although you do need to leave them a day or so before you/your toddler start tugging on them.) My only gripe would be that you cannot buy any spare magnet key thingys to open the cupboards, as I am certain that before the year is out I will manage to lose one. Great product, would recommend.

They are a little fidley to line up and fit but have worked a treat for keeping my 10 yr old out of my make-up and jewelry. The clip to leave the draw unlocked is very handy but a second key would be good, then i could have 1 key downstairs and 1 upstairs. Also good that there's nothing visable on the outside so doesn't spoil good draw fronts.

Product was actually quite easy to install- with help of a handy tool they provide. Unfortunately one of the locks was faulty and would not open but the seller was very understanding and offered immediate assistance. Although strong, did not cause any damage upon removal. Would still recommend even though I had a problem.

The magnetic safety catches are an excellent means of keeping little ones out of cupboards, drawers etc. I found the first one a bit difficult because I was putting the lock piece the wrong way round in the cupboard itself and I think a diagram showing that more clearly would have been useful. However once I had sorted that out I did the rest very quickly and the installation tool was excellent for helping with positioning the door/drawer magnetic part. As a grandmother I wanted them for occasional use and what I particularly liked was that they couldn't be seen from the outside and could be turned off when not required.

Tried these after we had tried 3 other type of catches as we have a very strong little grandson toddler.None of the others lasted more than a day or two. As we just had a new kitchen we didn't want anything to be screwed in, so bought these.After a week in use ,we think these are brilliant so far. The tool to fit was fiddly until we got the hang of it, adhesive backing seems very secure.They work really, really well, very secure and we can leave them in the off position when he is not visiting, resetting instantly when needed.Great product, -would recommend very highly

I bought these because I needed something to stop my puppy opening the cupboards, but it needed to be hidden so he couldn't chew them off. These are perfect and easy to install. I don't think you need any instructions, which is a good thing because the instructions supplied are naff - but the locks are self explanatory. They also come with screws, but I found the adhesive is so good I have not used them.They also come with the option to cancel the lock, if you no longer need it, without having to remove them. My only gripe would be that they are quite chunky, but this is just being nit picky.

Bit of a fiddle to line up as the guide didn't suit my cupboards nor my parents but once finally in position work well. Had to seal the key though as if dropped it falls open and the magnet flies out
