Shoes seem sturdy enough, and I don't expect to go through ...
Normally I take a size 9, but these seemed a little big, and my foot does move about in them. Should have got a half size, but not taking any marks off for that. Shoes seem sturdy enough, and I don't expect to go through the soles anytime soon - they are really thick and hard wearing. Not as comfy as some of the reviews here indicated, but that's maybe to do with the insoles. At the front of the shoe they are almost non-existant, and they have started feeling uncomfortable after about a week (attached pic - you can see the diamond contours of the sole coming through). Another thing I didn't like is the laces - the 3 sets of eyelets don't really allow you to tighten the shoes properly, without feeling uncomfortable through the tongue. Again, this may be because mine are slightly too big but I don't think so. Perhaps a flat lace may help, rather than the chunky round one supplied.Overall, I'd probably NOT recommend these.(edited review after extra few days of wear)

comfortable and look not too bad at all
I bought these as an alternative to the last (I mean most likely my last ever) pair of Docs. These are my work shues and are a decent fit, comfortable and look not too bad at all. They feel more comfrortable than docs and are significantly less pricey. My last Docs didn't see out a year. These are already 6 months in and no problems so far..

Wanted these for work as a Carer
Wanted something to wear for work that was strong, comfortable and hopefully long lasting, but not a safety shoe with steel toe caps.I looked at many shoes but wanted something with a decent grip on the sole. Sadly many shoes on the market these days seem to come with hardly any grip on at all. Certainly not enough to give any sort of grip in wet or cold weather. These seem to fit the bill. My only question mark is the durability of the grip on the soles of the shoe. I guess only time will tell. I have had them about a month, so its a little to early to tell.I ordered the size 7 as suggested rather than going for a larger size. I am glad I did they fit nicely. Good choice based on the advice I read in regard to the product. They were a little stiff when I first worn them. That probably only lasted the first day shift. Since then fine no rubbing or blisters. All good.Would I buy them again? Most probably I guess that will depend on how long they last. At the moment everything is good!

Great Fit - Great Price
For my work, as an IT engineer, these shoes are perfect!Previously I'd purchase high quality shoes of a similar style from high street stores such as from M&S and I'd always find that the sole would split across the shoe as a result of crouching down on my toes or crawling around under desks to disconnect and re connect cables. This would happen every few months forcing me to buy another long before I should have too. I then moved onto dirt cheap shoes, such was my reluctance to keep refreshing my line of M&S shoes. These were dreadful. Whilst the lasted much longer than the expensive one's the comfort was drastically reduced - they certainly weren't something you'd wanna wear 5 days a week for long periods of time!Enter the Grafters Air Cushioned shoes! Wow! Everything about these shoes is great, from fit to quality to comfort they simply tick every box I need to be ticked. I did read several reviews that said the fit wasn't right and that they weren't comfortable...in a lot of cases this is down to individual sizing and personally for me the fit (size 12) is perfect. The leather is initially quite rough - as with any high quality leather it needs to be broken in before you see the benefit of it. The toe cap is much more firm, compared to any of the other shoes I've owned - allowing for greater protection of your feet (a good bonus!). As for the Air Cushioned sole - they certainly are very comfy - I wouldn't go as far as saying springy - but my feet don't hurt at all after wearing them for long periods and I've had no blisters and such even from new. There would be many trades that would suit this shoe greatly and I can't recommend them enough.

I bought a pair ofthese in October and after four ...
I bought a pair ofthese in October and after four months of average use one of the soles has split across from side to side.£30 for 4 months? Not sure that that is entirely reasonable!Same issues that others experienced also, with the cushioned inner peeling off etc.I won't be getting another pair.

Tough heavy shoes will last over 12 months constant wearing
These shoes are tough, slightly oversized I put cushion insoles in as had read reviews suggesting it's a good move. They are hard wearing which is good as I wear shoes down very quickly.Water proof so far.Had about 3. 5 months and noticed the sole is starting to lift away from the upper on one side.As a ex shoe repairer I know this can't be properly repaired.I do wear them everyday so they have been worn pretty hard. For the price they are ok and can be replaced when finally they come away.If you like a tough shoe try these if you don't like a heavy shoe steer clear it's down to preference.Update July 2021 have worn these shoes over a year now and they are still good. Most of my other shoes usually get binned within 4 months as I've worn through the sole. I hab just started to wear the tread off.The uppers are in perfect condition shame to get rid.But I will be getting a new pair you get your moneys worth out of them.update after 13 months wear , the sole never did actually lift from the upper still in good nick apart from all tread being worn smoooth. and this is the only reason im stopping wearing them for work. ive just ordered a replacement pair of the same shoe, excelllent value for money.
