Hinge issue
Easy to put together but on first usage the hinge pulled out of the lid

Hinge on the lid would not lock.
Love the product only problem was the hinge on the lid did not lock so have to hold to put items in otherwise it would fall on your hand. Did not send it back because there’s only myself and my husband in the house if you had children then I would have asked for another hinge. Other reviewers have had the same problem.

Nice but slightly disappointed
We needed something for extra storage and after looking at loads of alternatives, we opted for this product. The pine is light and a bit thin so could split if over tightened. The instructions say not to use an electric screwdriver, probably for that very reason. It wasn't perfect. There's a chunk out of the front panel but fortunately it's on the inside. Looks like it's where a knot would have been. However, it does make it very thin in that particular area so we had to be extra careful during assembly. There is a small split in the wood on one panel. This is on the outside but luckily doesn't show. Finally, we followed all instructions to the letter. One end panel will not close up fully and unfortunately, it's at the front. So there is a gap and no matter how hard we tried we couldn't get it to fully close. It's went together perfectly apart from this. My husband is convinced that the end panel is slightly warped and he may be right. Anyway, I'm not totally happy with it but it serves a purpose.

Value for money. But not from solid wood.
It’s a nice piece but more cream than white.Legs are solid wood, the rest is not.

Lovely piece of furniture
Based on some of the previous reviews I nearly didn't order this. I'm so glad I ignored them. It arrived promptly, was excellently protected and was completely constructed apart from screwing on the feet which took all of a few minutes (Tip : hold the screw in place with the screwdriver and screw the feet onto the screw). It looks lovely and arrived totally unmarked. It took longer to unwrap than assemble and holds all the stuff from our previous Ottoman. It's a lovely mid pine colour and well finished. I think that it's a bargain at the price.

Looks good but hard to put together
Was really difficult to put together the instructions are rubbish but must admit it looks good

smart, elegant and different
Having spent ages looking for an Ottoman that was simple but out of the ordinary, I finally found this one. Wonderful I thought.. But No...all 3 suppliers I found that sold it, were in fact sold out with no idea when they could expect more stock. Clearly lots of other people found this particular Ottoman just what they were looking for too.As always Amazon came to the rescue for me and found the exact same one. My fingers flew over the keyboard to order it!I was not disappointed, it was well worth the wait, I didn't even mind that it came flat packed(does anything NOT these days??)Since I have only to contact an amazing group of people who come and "make my flat pack" for me!This chest is EXACTLY what I wanted, it looks smart, particularly love the feet and the simplicity of it. Highly recommend this Ottoman.
