Is it fit for purpose ?
My old gas coal effect fire is over 28 years old. The spark ignitor fell apart and I went to a gas fire supplier near me and was told that they were unable to help. It may sound daft but they said that they could make a bespoke fire like mine for around £850 ! What a whole lot of "whats it" I took the fire out, looked on line and voila !!! problem solved ! £5.79 for a spark ignitor.
