I spend a lot of time up in my bedroom because I'm a writer, and that's where my computer is. I drink a LOT of tea, and I bring a thermos up to keep me supplied. But even a good thermos doesn't keep things hot forever, and anyway, once you've poured the tea, it quickly gets cool.I was in the habit of going downstairs, even very late at night, to reheat my tea in the microwave. I was thinking of looking around for a very small microwave that I could keep in my bedroom just for reheating my tea, but then someone told me about cup warmers, so I went online to search. I chose this one because it is a good price, and it has 3 heat settings.I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I do agree that the button is awkward to use, but I've not had any major problems with it. However the actual working of the warmer is fine. When I wake up in the morning, with my cold tea next to my bed, I just put the cup on the warmer, and begin my morning ablutions and get dressed. By the time I'm ready, so is the tea, nicely comfortably hot. And day while I'm at work at my computer, it stays the same temperature.I love it so much! Thank you for making such a perfect device!

I was sceptical about a mug/cup warmer...then I received it...Wow...absolutely fantastic...no more luke warm tea or coffee...keeps hot for as long as u need it...simply Superb...everyone should have one...

Amazing, keeps my drinks warm for so long which is great as I usually forget I make them. Love that it has different heat settings too, only down side is the ‘button’ is too easy to press so sometimes I touch it by accident and it comes on

The BTOYM round version of these coasters looks very smart indeed, and the materials appear to be good quality. It works as described, with three heat options and auto shut off when the cup is removed. The things I like about this model in particular, is that the highest heat output is greater than many other coasters, and keeps beverages hot! rather than just warm. The second thing I like is that the control button is on the side, which keeps the top free for just the glass heating pad, making cleaning a breeze. The last feature I like, is just the sleek design, with the air vent on the bottom of the coaster. Even after an hour of use on the highest heat setting, the bottom of the coaster remains just slightly warm. It will certainly not damage the surface it is sat on, like a desktop or bedside cabinet. I do not use them myself, but apparently the two lower heat levels are for things like warming milk or keeping soup hot. If you like a lazy drink in the morning, or want to keep your tea hot during that hour long Zoom call, these are brilliant. The power cord is 1.5M (5ft).

Bought for my partner for the office, but we tested it at home and it’s brilliant. Keeps his coffee warm for as long as needed. My only concern is that I’m worried after long term use it might start to crack/damage the bottom of the mug as it’s effectively just a hot plate, but we are yet to experience this. For fun, we put cold water on the warmer and it did warm it up to a respectable temperature, and does an even better job at keeping hot drinks hot. Cool gadget

The heat element melts the plastic base of the BTOYM Mug Warmer. It has only been used once a day for 7 months 9 days to keep my breakfast beverage warm. It was very upsetting to smell burning and then when I turned the warmer off and looked at it I found the plastic melted underneath the mug warmer. The model of the BTOYM mug warmer I purchased in Nov 2023 is no longer for sale on Amazon but people out there will have the model and they need to know how dangerous it is.

Busy working from home, I frequently found my hot drinks had gone cold before I got to them. I was on the look out for a mug to keep my drinks warm, but the recommendations were all for mugs at or over £100, which seemed excessive. This warmer had 3 temperatures, but I've only used the hottest setting. I can make a massive mug of tea or coffee at breakfast and it'll still be perfectly hot and drinkable at lunch time. I think the energy it consumes probably costs less than the value of cold teas & coffees I used to throw away. Happy so far.Update, almost a year after purchase... It's still working keeping my coffee good to drink for a few hours, if it failed, I'd buy it again. The only think I'd change is the touch switch which is overly sensitive over too wide an area, it's easy to turn on by mistake, so it's important when using it on a desk to keep it clear of other items (it could burn paper or melt leads that fall onto the hot surface)... But I'd still buy it again👍

The media could not be loaded.  Great piece of kit - hottest temp keeps my tea at ‘just made’ temperature, I tend to drop it down to the purple or blue setting so it cools to a more comfortable drinking temperature. As the video shows, the button / sensor on the front is very responsive - I wasn’t actually touching it for the last one when I turned it off, but I’ve had no issues with accidentally turning it on and off as I rarely have reason to brush against or near it unless I’m using it.In terms of mugs, I was worried by other reviews that said you needed a very flat bottomed mug - not so - all my mugs, which have the usual raised edge round the bottom, have been fine on it - the one in the video is rather large and sits just outside the ring marking on the top, but still works just fine. Recommend to anyone who regularly finds their tea has gone cold before they get to it - I actually drink more tea now, as I get to finish the one I’ve got and go make another, instead of sitting there with a cold cup full!

I like the rubber feet. Reduces slippage. The variety of heat settings is also good.

I have only had this for a few days but I use it every day. I like to sit outside and relax. Coffee would always get cold before I could finish it. So far this cup warmer is working great. I use a ceramic cup and I place a small plastic cup lid on top. The lid really adds to the heat of the coffee keeping it nice and hot. Even without the lid, it does a great job. I may consider buying another one to keep one outside and one inside. I will let you know if my review changes.
