F760 Linear Leg Press / Hack Squat

Let’s face it we always seem to find something to gripe about in these days and society. Honestly I love this machine and you can see the results. My legs have taken off to a new level. Even at 52 years young finding new growth from this machine. Customer service is amazing but what else would you expect coming from a “Gronk”The build quality is very good I wish bars were wider (see pictures) but very manageable.I highly recommend this product.

This is a wonderful machine. I’d been looking/researching for a long time for a good leg press/hack squat machine. Many machines promise a lot but fall short in one area or another. The biggest issue with these combo machines is that the hack squat in particular (and the leg press) suffers from a limited range of motion. When you’re spending a good chunk of change it never feels good to have to modify equipment with yoga blocks and/or horse stall mats just to achieve proper depth on the movements. With this machine the engineers thought of this and have provided adjustable shoulder supports for the hack function so that both short and tall users can use it effectively. They’ve also placed the stoppers low enough to accommodate good depth. In addition, the depth on the leg press function is actually better than the Powertec Leg Press and that’s not even a combo machine. The footplate on the leg press is totally wide enough to accommodate good foot placement and the hack squat footplate is nice and long to bring your feet far forward in the movement.The build quality on this machine is solid and very sturdy and the linear bearings on the movement feel premium. Again, compare that to most other leg presses of this range and you’ll find the roller variety bearings which are clearly inferior.Ordering this was so simple. It came an astonishing 2 days later via truck delivery in three boxes on a pallet. Everything was packaged beautifully and nothing was damaged or out of place. The instructions were by far the best and clearest I have ever seen in assembling gym equipment. They even give you foot pound specs for torquing the various bolts.My minor criticisms are that the donkey pad didn’t quite fit me so well and there’s nowhere to put your hands when using it, but that function is really a bonus. There’s also only one place to load weights at the bottom of the machine and no weight storage. Again, not a big deal, but this might not suit folks who want to go 1000 pounds plus.Overall, a great purchase and I’m looking forward to using this for decades.
