Is this bag good for a 7 and 9 year old?

I wouldn't waste your money. I bought it for a 6yr old and it seemed small for him. Sam's Club has sleeping bags (nap mat) that are bigger, softer and the attached pillow is actually a pillow, which this Bixbee Kids was not! Sam's Club kids sleeping bags are only $20!! Go to Sam's better quality and much better price.

Is this an actual sleeping bag or a blanket?

It's a sleeping bag. It's a Christmas gift so the grandkids haven't seen it yet. I imagine it's more for indoor use than outdoor.

Does this sleeping bag contain any lead like the Ozark Trail bags?
