Australian Bodycare Pure Tea Tree Oil

I find this indispensable, use for first aid on scratches and cuts etc, and for household cleaning a must for bathroom and WC. Prefer to use essential oils with natural products when cleaning, just make sure when using to follow guidelines for dilution etc. A premium product from a trusted brand.

Have been suffering from seborrheic dermatitis and acne for more than a year; been treated with antibiotics by GP which have not resolved the problem. I bought this product as part of a self-treatment exercise, hoping to find a successful alternative remedy. The directions leaflet cautions about using undiluted, I suspect mainly for legal reasons. When it arrived, I dabbed some neat onto my pustules and papules. The result was absolutely astonishing in that the redness in all my spots reduced dramatically and all itchiness was resolved. I found one reaction quite alarming in that the dandruff in my beard seemed to suddenly and dramatically be ejected in what was almost a 'snow shower' of particles. Worried I may have overdone things using this product neat, my wife set about diluting it to a 2% mix using coconut oil as a carrier. It still seemed to work but not with the same effectiveness. After a chat with the manufacturer's UK outlet (amazingly kind and helpful people), we have decided to try a 50% mix using Amara Organics Aloe Vera Gel as carrier. I will try to update this review with the result. In the meantime, I would thoroughly recommend this product, as well as the UK suppliers. Am continuing to use at this strength but would certainly suggest that everyone should do an allergy test as recommended by the manufacturer before using this oil. It is powerful stuff that certainly can, if used correctly, work wonders for those having the same skin problems as I have had.

Recently purchased this neat oil for my son (for a skin issue) but reading about the properties I was curious and interested as I suffer from dermatitis and in-growing hairs. I am really impressed. I use the body wash (same brand etc) in shower, but ask I add a few drops of this oil to my bath. I also add a few drops to my nivea body lotion and my skin has been recently feeling AMAZING.

The last time I bought Tea Tree Oil was way back when I was a teenager. However, back then I remember using it for acne breakouts, and all it did was make it worse. When I wanted to get some again to try, I went back to The Body Shop to get some, then noticed something...it wasnt 100% pure tea tree oil, but was blended with other oils.So I saw ABC on QVC one day, and them mentioning that it was 100% pure. I ordered if from Bodycare2000 (cheaper than QVC) as I'd used them before & found them extremely efficent.As for the tea tree oil - I couldnt be happier, this is far superior to the blended Body Shop version. It hasnt broken me out, clears up any hormonal breakouts within a few hours & keeps the pesky mozzies here away from me.I just wish I'd ordered more...you only use a little, but I use it every day and never want to run out.

Good oil, works as it should.Not *absolutely* pure though - the ingredients list additional limonene, linalool, and geraniol. That's probably why the smell is also a bit off, kind of buttery citrus on top of tea tree oil. It doesn't diminish the potency and the effect though. I would absolutely buy this over any other unknown product. I also want to commend the manufacturer for not obfuscating the ingredient list.

The best brand of super effective tea tree oil that is clear im consistency, as it should be for first aid use. It is brilliant for everything from using on spots to post wax treatment minor injuries, in shampoo to treat dandruff. Even a few drops in water to gargle (do not swallow) will nuke a sore throat and help prevent it developing into a cold. You can’t do this with a non clear type of tea tree oil. The dark bottle helps protect the oil too so lasts for ages.

I've used Australian Body Care for a long time and still think it's the best. Dab this on a cut and you won't have any trouble. Highly recommend. After my shower I always put a dab on the end of each toe nail. No nail infections ever and keeps my feet fresh all day. Thank you.
