great little toy....but, not a serious projector!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me start by saying this: These snowfall projectors, etc...are NOT like an artist's projector. They don't have any knobs that allow you to adjust the size and clarity of the image projected. With these projectors, you adjust the image with distance or closeness to the surface you want to project onto. More or less: It's all about how close you put these projectors to the surface you want to project onto. The pictures you see when you click onto one of these cheap projectors is a lie. It projects in a round pattern like the shape of the lens you can clearly see the device has. So, don't expect these "little" projectors to cover your entire house.....unless you have a small one bedroom/one bath house. The snow would be the size of a soft ball by the time you got it big enough to cover a big house(Home Alone size house)....and faded out. I used this projector for a High School dance and we hung it from the ceiling, of a Basketball Gym, about 15 feet above the floor.....It projected balls of light onto the floor like a disco ball. Just perfect. The parents and kids loved the idea. Now....Since, I had to fiddle with the height of this projector to get it right- I'd say I know what I'm talking about. LOL Onto the clarity......It has bright LED's and it's clear up to 15 to 25 feet. But, I don't see how the round balls could be seen as small snowflakes, at this distance. The projection gave us big balls of light.. golf ball size at 15 feet. Baseball sized at 25 feet. The LED lights have two colors: Blue and Yellow. It has a remote that allows you to play with the adjustments.....We used the blinkers to give it a strobe affect. You can even adjust the speed and length of time you want the lights to work. 2-4 or 6 hour spans. It comes with a ground spike or a hook that allows you to hang it. The black plastic body is sturdy but, the clear plastic lens is a bit fragile.....(It has to be thin to do the job, right?) I have two of these......You see, I bought a more expensive version for my home last year...cost? 40 dollars plus tax.. The school was on a budget so, I got a cheap one for 20 dollars......But, guess what? They're the exact same device!!!!!! I feel cheated! LOL Anyway, these are fun to play with and for a small house it would work somewhat......But, if you're a Christmas light guru - I'd suggest you bite the bullet and buy a projector that allows you to adjust the width of light, etc.

We received quickly and box was in perfect shape. Not hard to assemble
We received quickly and box was in perfect shape. Not hard to assemble. The item is mostly plastic. For the price, this product projected fairly well. We took the item on a camping trip and projected twinkles up into the trees. The spots will rotate around. Some of the campers had projector lights that were stationary. I would like to note that the closer the lamp is to the object it is projecting on, the larger the spots are going to project. Set the lamp back further from projection area and the spot will be smaller. We had only one outlet location at the tent site, so only had a limited space to set light up. No matter...the grand-kids thought it was great and did not care whether the spots were big or little like real snowflakes would be. Can't wait to use it for our next holiday or camping event.

FOLD (Found On Lawn Dead)
The image wasn't as bright or as sharp as my neighbors projectors, but still pretty decent especially for the price. This thing was nice while it lasted, which was extremely short. After placing it outside, after 2 weeks it began working intermittently, and ultimately failed by week 3. Thankfully since I got it through amazon, I can return it without an issue other than the hassle of the process. There's a lot of positive reviews for this, I guess some people have more luck than others. I just wouldn't count on more than a season or two if you leave this outside.

Updated review
Didn’t work initially, had a strange little battery in remote. Difficult to find but once I did it worked! I use it indoors facing fireplace with mosaic mirror, looks beautiful in my all white Christmas decor family room. Only reason I don’t give a 5 star is due to the base, can’t hold its own weight (I presume if used outdoor the stake support works just fine) I have a light shooter I use in the family room with kids decor (red and green) that comes with a sturdy indoor base

Any snow in Florida is pretty good!!!
Well built but doesn’t cover much area and snow flakes blurry - novelty but not all I though it would be :/ - convenient remote control best asset.
