I am so glad I found this Disney dvd. For years I've tried to get Mickeys Christmas Carol I used to watch it when my children were young on VHS but it only seemed available on imports/region 1 which were also a lot of money and which would be no good for me. .Then I read the reviews and realised Mickeys Christmas Carol is one of the cartoons on this dvd. I ordered it straight away but was a little sceptical but at such a low price it wouldn't matter if it wasn't the full version .As soon as it arrive I watched it and indeed there it was, it brought back so many happy memories and I intend watching it again this Christmas with my grown up children . very happy customer.P.S The other Christmas Disney cartoons on this dvd are also very heart warming ,worth every penny !

I thought I’d introduce my little girl to some traditional Christmas-y Disney cartoons, hence I purchased this movie. The several short stories throughout this movie were great. 'Mickey's Christmas Carol' is one of my childhood favorites and it has been many many years since I saw this cartoon and was very glad that I did. 'Pluto's Christmas Tree' is another beautifully made oldie and goodie. The two new cartoons were great too. It was pretty funny to see Donald being chased by an ice crack of all things in 'Donald on Ice.' And Disney's new rendition of 'The Nutcracker' was quite original and funny, especially with Donald playing the Mouse King. I always believed Donald Duck had a bit of an evil streak in him lol!It's the in-between parts that are a little dicey. I'm not really a fan of the 'House of Mouse' series on the Disney Channel (both the original cartoon version or the more commonly watched CGI version)hence I was a little disappointed by this special. I’ve watched a number of episodes with my young nephew so could tell that many of the scenes in this special were just taken from old episodes that are readily available on YouTube.This movie is not one that I would watch in it’s entirety again and again, I would mostly skip to my favourite parts. While there were a large amount of Disney characters present throughout the movie, they lacked any presence in the story telling. The movie does, to a certain extent successfully, try to concentrate on the Christmas sentiment.I will say I quite liked the last musical number. I thought it would be pretty corny, but it turned out to have the right amount of heart, and it made me laugh when even the villains of various Disney movies participated.Overall I wouldn’t class this movie as a christmas classic, but I’m glad I purchased it as an introduction to Mickey Mouse for my daughter. There are some enjoyable parts to the movie so I do recommend watching this movie, even if once.

Great for anyone who is a Disney fan. Has all the classics in there and a lovely wholesome message within the film

Disney plus hasn’t got it and been wanted it for ages so treated myself love this and brings back good Christmas memories
