Product Description Pai Mu Tan is picked in the early morning mist just two morning of the tea season. This white tea is truly one of china's rarest and most famous teas. Pai Mu Tan's silver tips are full of antioxidants and polyphenols, resulting in a pale golden tea which is fresh, mellow and sweet tasting. A great starting point for those not taken instantly with green teas as it is easy to drink and very gentle. A real treat! MMMMM, Grass fresh....
I love some of the Novus flavours, but this one doesn't really do it for me. I've had white tea from just about every source, including having just been prepared at the tea factory in the Nilgiri Hills in India, having been picked only a few days earlier. This one seems to be very fresh, but tastes a bit like a cross between black tea and freshly mown grass - and I'm not all that into grass. It's not so bad that I won't drink the remainder of what I bought, but I shan't buy any more.

A lovely refreshing tea
This tea has a lovely bouquet and flavour, with none of the dustiness or bitterness sometimes associated with white tea. Large leaves are generously packed in the fine bags so there is no baggy aftertaste. A lovely light alternative to black or green tea.

Really Nice Tea
If you like Jasmin or any of the other Asian light/white tea, you will like this. The effusion is slow and means you can get 2-3 cups from each bag.
