I'm kind of amazed to get a fully articulated Barbie for this very reasonable price! I guess you need jointed knees & arms to really be able to hike, and I'm impressed that she isn't just a less-expensive doll in a hiking outfit. The accessories really make sense for the little future hiker in your family: map, flashlight, water, sunscreen, trail mix & a backpack (with room for your canine hiking companion). I suppose in real life she'd want to wear pants with pockets, but I guess that's what the backpack is for! Hat & glasses, also important for sun protection, and the hiking boots are pretty sweet.I love that this is from the "self care" collection, teaching kids at an early age that doing physical activity in nature can be very restorative & inspiring. It's not all pink bubble baths & massages for Barbie anymore!

I got this doll for my granddaughter as a gift. She loves Barbie, and she really is adventurous, so I thought this doll would be perfect for her. This beautiful doll looks like she's set to go out on a hiking adventure. I love all the fun accessories she comes with. She has her trusty dog in her backpack, a flashlight, water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, a camera for snapping pics of her favorite sights, and a map to guide her along the way. My granddaughter will be so happy with this doll!

I got this for my granddaughter who is part Filipino. She’s gorgeous. Anyway, She’s never had a doll that looks like her at all. Most of her dolls are blond hair with blue eyes. This barbie has dark hair, dark eyes and darker skin like she has. She absolutely loves this barbie, especially because of all the accessories including the puppy. What a great gift.

This Barbie doll set is fun. Barbie wears her hiking gear and has puppy in her backpack. Puppy can be removed from backpack, though it isn't easy the first time. Her clothing is perfect for hiking, very realistic. Everything is well made, durable and fits the theme. We love and recommend this set!
