Mig welder
I'm very happy with this little welder, I'm a 46 year pro welder and I'm impressed don't get me wrong it's not a pro welder but for diy excellent performance.

Good Value For Money and Quite Easy To Use
Used this for car panel work, which is generally not the forte of flux-core , I am told. It isn't as neat as regular MIG but then it's much cheaper for anyone who's not welding on a regular basis. It works well once you have worked out what power setting to use (there is only one adjustment, unlike some other machines) and the wire it was supplied with works better than the replacement reel I bought elsewhere when that ran out this week. The only issue is that all the online instrutional videos for flux-core machines mention a chart matching metal gauge to power setting. This one doesn't have that chart so it's a trial-and-error process and the adjustment knob is quite sensitive and can be easily moved by accident so you need to keep checking the reading. Otherwise it's a good machine so far.

DOES THE JOB A
A GREAT MIG WELDER FOR THE PRICE, BOUGHT A REEL OF 0.9 FLUX COATED WIRE AND USED IT TO MAKE A LEG LEVEVELLER FOR MY LADDER WITH SOME 1.5MM STEEL BRACKETS AND THREADED BARIT DID THE JOB PERFECT HAVENT USED THE 0.8 WIRE THAT CAME WITH IT YET,THE AUTO WIRE FEED SPEED WORKS WELL WHICH I THINK IS A GOOD FEATURE, ILL GIVE IT 5

So that's how you do it
Never welded before but I thought go on bite the bullet. Glad I did , my neighbour said he would show me . Both of us are impressed. Very lightweight and portable, bit of a faff loading wire, practice makes perfect. Instructions not good. Looking at the panel it shows symbols for mig and MMA. Duly emailing the seller they come back to say it only does mig. Grateful for the reply at least there is still customer service. Mainly my fault buying blind and been a complete novice. Excellent delivery on time great price. Will enjoy using hopefully
