Excellent microphone
A really good sound through this. Once on the stand it’s a little tight to get the lead in, but an excellent quality solid piece of equipment.

Great looks, sound less so.
Bought three of these for my wife’s female vintage harmony trio. Up to now they have used SM58’s, which sound great, but we wanted the vintage look. On the plus side they do look great. They have a matt metal finish which I much prefer to anything shiny or blingy. In the hand they feel like a well made, reassuringly heavy item. So, on the aesthetic front, ten out of ten.The sound, generally, is very good. I believe they use the SM58 cartridge and so it should be. The problem lies with the lack of wind shielding. Breath sounds, pops and plosives are very prominent. With the three of them singing and the backing track playing the problem is somewhat masked. On quieter solo songs it is, in my opinion, unacceptable. It was my vote to send them back but the ladies have fallen in love with the way they look and are willing to accept the odd explosive “p” and “b”.

Look Good, Sound Good.
Good price and obviously it's Shure! I've wanted one of these for years and it looks and feels great. Friends have commented on how good I found now too. I have friends who have had the £50 they look ok, but the sound and plastic feel doesn't cut it. Don't buy those!

Best vintage microphone around for the price!
This is a great microphone! it has that vintage look and very reasonably priced. The sound quality is excellent as one would expect from SHURE. Comes with an adaptor ring which enables it to be screwed onto American type mic stands. Great buy!

Check one two
Had a good weight to it, looks amazing and captures vocals spot on. I had no fear of damaging it, more like or would do done serious damage of it fell on your feet.
