Good Food
Good food, highly respected in the trade and not over priced like many of the 'brands' out there (most of which dont actually manufacture their product like Skinners do).We have a rescur that we have had for around 7 weeks and had a bit of a skin conidition when we got her...nothing serious just an itch issue. Our dog has took to this food really well and looks good on it. Also the itching seems to have calmed down. Also the fact that it has Joint Aid for Dogs (albeit a small amount) is a good thing.Amaon were the cheapest I could find for this product.

Superb hypoallergenic food
I've trialed lots of foods for my older dog (8) and what bothers me most is that the size of each bite is around the size of a 10 pence piece. This puts my dog right off, but these bites are very small, almost the size of cat kibbles. Perfect! I was worried about the protein as he doesn't do well with "bird" typically. However, we've had no farts of death and his coat is gleaming. I am sure his joints seem easier too. it's an absolute miracle food. I will not be buying anything else. However, he does still hide under the table in case the kids drop anything. Ten second rule? More like 1 second for my dog. Never mind, we can't have it all.

I think it was probably an expensive mistake
As yet my dog has not tried it so this is really not a fair review. I bought it to give him a change but he sniffed it and walked away so I'm not sure that I've done the right thing. I guess he'll eat it when he's hungry.

Feed this to my 10 year old whippet and it’s great for him! Doesn’t turn his nose up at it just yet!

Good for healthy joints and my dogs love it
This particular Skinners dry dog food is the one that both my dogs really love. Whenever I buy dog food now My one criteria is a that it contains additives for maintaining healthy joints. This gits the bill in that respect so a double hit

Nearing its use by date
My dog has always eaten Skinners Field and Trial and has thrived on it. However the last two bags I purchased from Amazon have been very close to their use by date. I had a bag delivered today (26th May) with the use by date of 7th July (the product has a shelf life of 12 months). This is something to be aware of if you are stocking up on food. It will be fine for us as we will open the bag straight away and should use it in time.
