What makes this filter better than other brands?

I’ve not seen other brands but this one is of very high quality and made in the USA.

How does this compare with the Able Disk Fine filter?

Able seems to be fine while this is a little finer. Over time the holes will get clogged on any mesh. They also Lazer etch their logo on the holes creating a weak area; mine has cracked there as have others. I recommend paper after using metal mesh.

I don’t have it in front of me but it is the exact same diameter as the Aeropress paper filter and the Aeropress filter housing. I would guess approximately 2”
