Excellent plays about the apartheid era in S Africa, especially effective because of the links between collaborators and actors and ANC activists. Very readable.

Terrible full of words and that no pictures

I owned the book before and misplaced it. I was happy to be able to order it through Amazon. It is very interesting. I read plays because they take me, mentally, into theatres anytime I want to go there. This book gives me some insight into the happenings in South Africa during the apartheid era. I am learning things that the newscasters could not know about South Africa; the feelings of the people, the personal and other forms of struggle that did not take place on the street, how the South Africans treated each other; their fears, worries, interests and concerns. Very interesting read.
