Awesome stepper driver

I have had one of these for a few weeks and it ran great (from a different supplier, found this one and ordered it, only to find the repeat-ability of step is not very good.Put my other unit onto same circuit, runs fine, repeatable for 100 movements, put this one back and it misses a few, adds a few and generaly out by a few mm on a 200mm travel, swapping nothing but the drive so back to good one, and all works great. the other unit is 35mm tall, and has a metal cover, swapped that but the same.look for the tall 35mm unit with a small tab at the left of the front cover, this fits into a small recess on the heat sink. these type are much better.

Correct drivers arrived and once installed worked as expected. Dip switches are sturdy and the documentation printed on top is legible and easy to understand. Best driver for the price. Would buy more of these for future projects. "Used in a Acro Laser From Open Builds"
