- HISTORY: Moonshine Sweet Tea started in 1946 out in the Texas Hill Country, in the small town of Mason, Texas, by Leo Cobb Porter: the great grand-dad of founder Joele Porter. Moonshine’s style of bold sweet tea uses the same secret family recipe that Leo Cobb Porter perfected more than 70 years ago. Today, Moonshine Sweet Tea is in over 10,000 stores nationwide and growing everyday to meet our mission: Make the best damn tea in the world!
- INGREDIENTS: Moonshine Sweet Tea (NON-ALCOHOLIC) is brewed FRESH using only three natural ingredients: hand-picked black tea leaves, clean filtered water and 100% pure cane sugar. Our tea is non-GMO, Gluten Free and 100% certified kosher. One glass of Moonshine Sweet Tea (Original) contains almost half the sugar than your average carbonated soda (30g per bottle). Our Teas contain about 1/2 the amount of caffeine found in a comparable serving of coffee (about 15mg per 8-ounce serving of black tea, 30mg per bottle).
