Ribbon web has two sides: the front is outer when the yarn is curled up, and should face you when knitting. There is a narrow border on each edge of the ribbon web. Stitches are knitted using the top border of the ribbon. Casting on: Un - Curl ribbon as you work along it. Insert knitting needle through front of ribbon just below the top edge and re - insert roughly 1" further on the ribbon. Repeat, until 15 stitches are on the needle. Knitting the rows: Insert second needle at the last cast-on stitch: then 1" further down ribbon to start first row. make a loop from top edge of ribbon and knit stitch. Repeat to end of row as required to make scarf the length you want. Finishing: Cast off full row of stitches. Sew up ends of ribbon, to prevent any unravelling.
