I would have preferred the bowls to be a tiny bit larger, and there is an option for bowls that hold 1 cup, but those only have pattern on the exterior and are white inside. So I opted for these which are a bit smaller because they are visually more appealing. Perfect for a small helping of applesauce or fruit with a meal or a little cup of nuts for snacking. Shipped in great packaging.

It is pretty small

I have the round salad plates and the cereal bowls of this same pattern and I love them. Adding these little bowls for dips, or condiments or a small scoop of ice cream was the perfect way to round out my set of dishes. Love them. They are beautifully packed, sturdy (no chips at all after the first year of the other dishes in this pattern). Get ‘em, you will be glad you did.

I had originally bought the pasta bowls, and fell in love with them… now adding each item offered. Sturdy, heavy, hasn’t chipped (I have three kids that don’t realize mommy loves pretty things) this pattern is gorgeous and adds a little zip to my kitchen, as I’m usually an all white fan. GET THE WHOLE SET! Lots of sizing choices!!

Great as dipping bowls, but do be aware that most desserts will not be suitable for these small bowls. Fine if you are into serving a small dip of sherbet between servings to clear the palate, but not large enough as a full on ice cream dessert, unless you only want a small scoop.Can even be used on a dresser to hold your rings and other smaller jewelry. Whatever you might need a smallish bowl for. I like to use them when I'm cutting up herbs and garlic and preparing various ingredients for a dish that I'm cooking. So much easier to have everything proportioned out before combining. These are great for smaller amounts of ingredients.They are well made and are very pretty. Love how the insides of the bowls have a different, yet complementary pattern than what's on the outside of each bowl. Same with the set as a whole. Each bowl has a different pattern, yet they are well coordinated.Sturdy enough to be dishwasher safe and can even be used in your microwave oven.They've got it all and you will not be displeased with this set.
