To get his bag from plain to finished requires several carefully taken steps: - Printing the design using specialised ink and thoughtfully cutting it out with scissors or a scalpel - Leaving it for at least 20 mins to dry thoroughly - Preparing the bag by pressing with a professional heat press several times in quick bursts to remove excess moisture which can hinder final quality - Pressing the bag for 30 seconds under high pressure and high heat Finally the bags are given BYKI tags and folded in a way that the design is visible. They are wrapped in jute string and care instructions are slipped under the string. We do not put them in any furuther packaging, they go straight into an A4 envelope to avoid unnecessary package waste. It is an eco friendly bag after all!
