Silverline 282530 Woodworkers Vice 9.5 kg 180 mm

a very solid vice! Works great and delivers exactly what was promised. For the price of the vice and the fact, there is nothing wrong with it. I am giving 5 stars!

Product was sent back to supplier, not what l thought it would be very flimsy, ideal for a first time DIYer.

After years of fixing wood to my bench with clamps i finally ordered myself a proper vice. Great piece of equipment!! Only small snag was that when it arrived the small nut on the end of the handle was overhauled. I passed this info on to Amazon but heard no more.However a small dab with my MIG welder overcame the problem.

Hey, it's a Silverline ! So long as you don't expect too much then it is great for the money.Actually it is pretty good. It clamps materials as well as any other vice costing many times more.The only down side, frankly, is the screw mechanism. It is not a smooth adjustment, although a little oil on the threaded central rod helped.But you know, it clamps, it is cast metal and it screws to the underside of the bench. Why pay more.As a point of interest, it replaced a Record vice that broke across the front plate when I over tightened on a metal pipe (yes I know it is a woodworkers vice and not a metal workers vice) . I miss-used it as many others would and must do. My point is why spend more?Recommended for the money

This is a good sturdy vice which does exactly what it's supposed to do. I don't know if all vices are the same as this one but the casting was a slight bit off and I had to use washers the get the front jaw level. No big deal. Also the screw holes were clogged with paint which required 30 seconds with a drill to clear out. Again no problem and more expensive ones are probably the same. Overall I'm very pleased with this vice and would buy another one if it ever got damaged.

The vice was pretty easy to fit and meets my needs. The main issue I had was one of the screws/caps at the end of the tightening bar was too big for the screw thread on the bar, and fell off all the time. So the bar kept falling out of the vice. I had to find one on my own to replace it.

The media could not be loaded. Ottimo, resistente qualità prezzo super rispetto morse tradizzionali .Resiste molto bene alle martellate e lavorazioni in genere pesanti.L'ampiezza della morsa da aperta è notevole.Unico difetto, la barra di apertura è composta da un fermo filettato che tende a svitarsi.Nulla di inrisolvibile con un poco di blocca filetti.

Zum Einbau in Werkbank, sehr stabil, zieht tagellos an und ließ sich bis jetzt auch nicht "zerstören". Also: alles ok
