I have been looking for a long handled shoe horn for some time as I have arthritis in both knees and getting shoes on is not easy, especiallyslip-ons. At first glance this item appears well made and the spring that attaches the blade to the handle so the blade can move and bend is a nice touch if it was not so weakly attached. The very first time I used it the handle pulled out of the attachment. I have tried it with different shoes even ones that are not a tight fit (including a pair of Crocs) and it just isn't fit for purpose. The only reason I have given it one star is because of its looks.I cannot recommend this product

Getting older with Arthritis we sometimes need help putting on our shoes, boots. This one is sleek, stylish and hangs on side of meter cupboard in the hall. Looks really good, and really helps with shoes

Don't expect it to last, used half a dozen times.... and it just fell apart. Poor Customer Service from seller, Easier to, who said as it was 1 day over 6 months since the order date they consider it not under warranty. (we haven't had the item 6 months if you allow for delivery time) An item should last for 6 months whether it's used daily or not! Blatant breach of Statutory Rights here.

I had already bought two of this type of shoe horn from other suppliers and was very happy with them.This one is not of the same quality, the end, that goes in the shoe, keeps coming away from the spring, which defeats the object.I should have paid a little more for a better quality one.

The horn bent the first time I used it, easily bent back with hands shows it was a really weak metal. Tried to be careful when using the second time and the horn + spring detached from the stick.Awful and not fit for purpose.

You can stick it back on again, but the end coming off is a bit of a pain. Admittedly only only use it for one pair of shoes and they are tight at the back. BUt that was why I wanted a shoe horn. Might have been better just to get a very long one piece plastic one...
